This twitter chat stands for "Wins And Losses Ed Chat" and will be a chat where students reflect on the previous week to celebrate victories and reflect on losses to turn them into victories.

Patrick, an #edtech coach, colleague, and friend to Ss, Ts, and admins in northern VA... If I were to cast a spell it would be one of positivity, kindness, and belief. #waledchat
Hi- Michelle from VA. I teach 7th grade US History II. My thought would probably be the first time I stayed up late to finish a Harry Potter book the day it came out. I’m one of those 😀😀#waledchat
#waledchat - Ray, Math Instructional Coach from Rhode Island

Intros: Welcome to #waledchat! Please introduce yourself, where you are from, your role in education, and if you were a wizard what happy thought would you use to cast your patronus charm (Harry Potter)? #waledchat
A1: Before I start teaching my content, I want to spend the first few days teaching my students how to use the various apps I think we will likely work on the most. I've got some cool hyperdocs to help me with it! #waledchat
Todd from Winchester. I teach Math 7, Algebra 1, and Geometry. A spell? How about an environment for all students that allows them to focus on what is important and bettering themselves. #waledchat
Everything is new for me because I transitioned from grade 12 to K-4. Just put up a bulletin board covered in frogs. Looking forward to the changes #waledchat
A1: I would love to try a Socratic seminar with my English students! I think this would be a great way to hold students accountable for their work and really engage in literature! #waledchat
#waledchat - A1 - I just accepted a new job as my district's K-8 Math Instructional Coach, so there will be a lot of new experiences this year. I want to focus on creating a positive environment for collaboration and champion my teachers.
A1: I want to get better of #GoogleSheets and all the goodness that is formulas, scripts, and more... In reality, I'll be happy to simply embracing each new thing and growing!
#waledchat
A1) Deepening the emphasis on inquiry in my social studies instruction by trying out a student led wonder wall and having students categorize their ?s #waledchat
A1: Passion projects and a gradeless classroom.
I want Ss to recognize that learning is something they should enjoy and have power over and that feedback is truly how we learn, not a letter or a number. #waledchat
A1 This year, I am hoping to complete and try a unit from the Teach Further modules incorporating a local business. Haven't finished it...yet! #waledchat
A1: Something new, I want to have more student choice in my English classes (American Lit and a mid level senior English with multiple foci)... #waledchat
A1. I am really gonna try to restructure my band program. Its great as is. I want to incorporate more technology. Yes it works in the bandroom too! #waledchat
Jaime -South Jersey 6th grade ELA/Science. Happy thought is sunshine. I read somewhere once that even on a cloudy day the sun is always there. You just need to remember that ☀️ #waledchat
Intros: Welcome to #waledchat! Please introduce yourself, where you are from, your role in education, and if you were a wizard what happy thought would you use to cast your patronus charm (Harry Potter)? #waledchat
A1- I’m challenging myself to have students use tech to annotate more text. Hopefully I can find a system that works for both me and kids. Paperless= no copies=we can actually write on it! #waledchat
A1: I want to use live video for our daily announcements. Empower kids to take the lead! Personally, I want to lead presentations and start a book I plan to co-author. #waledchat
#waledchat A1 I would love to incorporate Canvas into my lessons more this year. Also... This fall I will become a published author. Would love to start public speaking on the topics addressed in my book "The Story of Always Believe"
Hey, #waledchat! Linda, elementary AP from Winchester, VA checking in. I am so blessed & have many to choose from, but I think the birth of my first would be my trigger. ❤️
Q1: One thing I want to try this year is a flipped lesson. I have ZERO idea how to do it other than to check out screencastify. We'll see how it goes! #waledchat
A1: WeVideo creations for flipped classroom
Ideas, Inspiration, Tips & Tricks - all in a Google doc you can copy and modify! TY @EDUcre8ive
Here it is: https://t.co/QAhXB7b52F#waledchat
Intros: Welcome to #waledchat! Please introduce yourself, where you are from, your role in education, and if you were a wizard what happy thought would you use to cast your patronus charm (Harry Potter)? #waledchat
I worked with all of the formulas that were available to help track student growth against the standards and how to formulate that into a "grade" on the grading scale. There is SOOOOO much you can do with sheets. #waledchat
A1: Being the only history teacher on my grade level, I'd love to find out if I could collab with one or all of the English teachers in the same grade #waledchat
I just emailed my principal about this! A dedicated bulletin board in a high traffic area for an interactive display highlighting character traits, getting to know all staff in the building, reading competitions among grade levels, sharing kindness...etc.
#waledchat
A1 I taught Pre-K for 12 years and I have a lot of picture books. I would like to begin reading picture books on a regular basis. Past school years I did this maybe twice a year. My goal is to make it an every week thing. #Waledchat
A1: Being the only history teacher on my grade level, I'd love to find out if I could collab with one or all of the English teachers in the same grade #waledchat
A1: I want to use live video for our daily announcements. Empower kids to take the lead! Personally, I want to lead presentations and start a book I plan to co-author. #waledchat
A1: I found a really great article by a T who made game boards to guide Ss through their unit (essay writing for her). I’m excited to try something similar to help give Ss a balance between choice - within the individual space - and the linear structure of a board game #waledchat
My great friend is a music teacher and he has incorporated more tech into his room this year. It has helped Ss understand music better and allowed them to see outside the box of the traditional lesson. Good luck with your endeavor! #waledchat
Q1 This year I really want to try Flipgrid in my classroom. It looks like it would be an awesome, engaging tool that would allow all my students to communicate. #waledchat
A1: I want to be more involved in my school’s community this year by making sure that I am visible and approachable to the families of our students. #waledchat
A1: My summer PD has been great. I've learned so many fabulous things from great leaders in education. Especially on #hivesummit I want to be more intentional. Be more of a leader & I want to explore #gamification#waledchat
We just talked about doing this today by using progression scales for Ss to see their learning. Let them see where they need to grow and develop goals from there. #waledchat
A1 I want to participate in Global collaborations. Last year we did quite a few @SkypeClassroom activities and I want to expand on that with global projects. #waledchat
A1: I’m going to have students determine the curriculum! This year it’s going to be all about them. This is the “un-syllabus” for the beginning of the year. #waledchat
A2: I think any chance we get to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones results in incredible learning - and that learning benefits everyone around us, colleagues and students. #waledchat
A2: I am hoping it will save me time later in the year with my 6th/7th graders. I may need to provide refreshers, but I won't need to fully teach the app to every student, so Ss can dive into tasks at their own pace better! #waledchat
A1: We have several new things this year—a 20 book student/staff challenge, Genius Mindset committee, more frequent teacher feedback. Got off to a good start today! #Waledchat
A2: There is a lot of greatness that can be created when one is a #GoogleSheets guru. Embracing change benefits nearly everything and everyone.
#waledchat
We’ve had teachers use @Flipgrid to have students record them playing a piece to save the class time of having to work 1:1 with each kid. They though it worked well! #waledchat
A2: It will help me enforce student centered instruction which is part of my philosophy of teaching. I really believe that Ss need to be the forefront in the classroom and drive their learning #waledchat
A2: Any time our Ss have more ownership of their learning, we have more time to hone our craft. I can use this time to conference with Ss and build stronger learning goals and relationships with them. #waledchat
A2: I think as we diversify what we do in the classroom it works to engage students in content leading to mastery of learning. It also helps us as teachers push ourselves out of complacency. #waledchat
She also offers a file through TpT, and I made one in a Google Doc that I’d be happy to share with anyone interested in giving it a try! #waledchathttps://t.co/m9kKiA4YSa
A2 A podcast will provide an platform to share my own experiences but also give my #pln a chance join me in sharing. Let me know if you’re interested in teaming up! #waledchat
A2: I will be able to offer more learning options and personalized feedback through a digital platform. I can share my learning with my colleagues. #Waledchat
A1: I want to create a digital bucket list of things I should learn before I die,but I want it to be completely student generated. I will choose random things to learn and they will see me struggle authentically. Failure and struggle is a part of learning. #waledchat
A2~
Better communication with families built on transparency, trust & knowledge of classroom happenings, etc...craft will improve do to a shared investment in our Ss ~ #teamworkmakesthedreamwork#waledchat
A1 Last year did a twitter challenge , thinking a Pinnapple chart challenge @cultofpedagogy this year, digital badge @ShellTerrell pin, and chance for me to cover classes to those who complete ..loved getting back in classroom , kept me grounded and appreciative for Ts #waledchat
I think it'll help me get to know the kiddos even better. I also hope that it will make them more autonomous and aware, which will contribute positive to the learning environment. #waledchat
A1: Be proactive and be ready to build positive relationships from the get go with Ss and families! I want to re-establish our school as a great place to be! #waledchat
#waledchat - A2 - I guess my job now as an Instructional Coach is to improve the craft of others, which is tricky, because not all teachers want to be coached. My focus will be on creating strong and effective PLCs that create some light bulb moments for my teachers.
A2: I think I will get better at my main goal this year which is "Engagement".Tuning into Ss intertests, like coding, I can engage even the most reluctant ones. From there I can create opportunities for relationships that will shape their future for the better. #waledchat
A1: There are so many ideas in this head of mine! 🤣 I want to continue to build a culture of literacy & next is celebrating International Dot Day. I have been texting with our literacy coach, librarian, and LA lead to plan our kick off/celebration. @JaimeRatliff01#Waledchat
A2: I’m excited about conferencing more frequently with teachers. It will help me be a better instructional leader, and hopefully help teachers grow! #waledchat
Q2: I believe I can hand more over to Ss. I believe a system to trade out S jobs, and some on-the-spot training will be necessary. With reflection, we will fail forward! We can improve our craft by learning from other schools and studying their style. #waledchat
A2: I think it’s great not to take the positive for granted. I hope this will make me more observant and appreciate of the day to day moments. #waledchat
A2: So many ways! Basically making me a better “teacher”. Not about teaching content but about how to help students think, explore, and make connections. #waledchat
A2: The more an educator understands how a child spends the 17 hours a day they are away from school, the better we can utilize the 7 hours that we are privileged to spend with them. #waledchat
I have wanted to try this for a couple of years now. I want to make sure I have a structure developed and content that people actually want to listen to before I am willing to commit. I will be following your journey to gain confidence in mine. #waledchat
A2: My hope is that Ss will see that history education doesn't = old dead people, but can involve discovery, exploration, critical thinking. Also, I hope to get others on board with making history more engaging and breaking from traditional lecture. #waledchat
A2 I think I will improve by showing my Ss real life examples of how what they're learning applies to every day life. It will help me continue on the path of helping them see beyond what they have to know and changing to what they want to know. #waledchat
I second both screencastify to record yourself and edpuzzle, which lets you embed questions in your own video OR edit existing YouTube videos. #waledchat
Allowing Ss to have their voices heard and to communicate openly helps to strengthen the learning community. Finding creative ways to engage in conversations with Ss builds excitement everyday with a new ideas to read and share.
#waledchat
A2: Implementing these strategies will hopefully help my students demonstrate comprehension and verbalize their thoughts in a different manner. I want to show them that learning can be fun, look & sound different, and be creative all at the same time! #waledchat
A2: my craft will improve by doing more direct teaching. However, I really want other Ts craft to improve due to the shared learning and collaboration of better understanding phonemic awareness and phonics to best support students. #waledchat
A2 promotes Ts learning from other Ts, open classrooms, collaboration, which ultimately positively affect Students.. and I get to teach , be with kids , and have a better understanding of what Ta and Ss need #waledchat
A2: the students will see that their voice and opinions. I'm not going to be good at skateboard Ollie's first try or spelunking. Learning is a process. I'll be way outside my comfort zone but it'll show them that it's okay to be outside of theirs. #waledchat
A2: I feel that by doing this, I’ll be able to help parents see the importance of their Ss at our school. I’ll be able to rebuild the trust of parents and our reputation as a school will help all stakeholders! #waledchat
A2: The more an educator understands how a child spends the 17 hours a day they are away from school, the better we can utilize the 7 hours that we are privileged to spend with them. #waledchat
A2) I believe the wonder wall strategy will better amplify student voice in a secondary classroom. I feel I too often provide students with the EQs. While the modeling is effective, we can take it to next level. #inquirymindset#waledchat
A2~
Better communication with families built on transparency, trust & knowledge of classroom happenings, etc...craft will improve do to a shared investment in our Ss ~ #teamworkmakesthedreamwork#waledchat
A2: I feel like my flexibility and ability to step back and let stuff happens instead of jumping in and try to make things the way I want them to be. #waledchat
A2: I think the game board will allow students to work at their own pace, giving me time and space to work with those who need the help most! I can also differentiate by having certain Ss skip certain boxes or encourage others to push forward towards challenge squares #waledchat
A2 Connecting my students to global projects will help to make them more aware of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. We live in a small world and are all connected. #waledchat
A2 After reflecting on last year, engagement was an area I think I can to do better in. So I have been reading Teach Like a Pirate and trying to create authentic hooks. #waledchat
A3: I know some students will struggle with hyperdocs, as it is a new experience for them. I'm sure there will be others who will not think it is a worthwhile adventure. #waledchat
A2: As curriculum leader, I promised my history colleagues I would coteach with one of them during my free period one day each week. My hope is to allow more small group instruction & innovative strategies. #waledchat
A2- I’m hoping this will help students bridge the gap between learning-to-read and reading-to-learn. This could be a skill that sticks with students well after they forget what Amendment gave women the right to vote. #waledchat
A3: I'm afraid that students may not be motivated or willing to discuss literature without me guiding it. Before having a Socratic Seminar I really need to know my Ss and their interests #waledchat
A3: families are going to be hesitant to accept the change and approach the situation and trust me. I’m hoping to build those relationships from day 1 to show the community that we are changing for the better! #waledchat
@Seesaw provides a means metacognition to happen within a real context. I would like the Ss to reflect upon their learning and extend the conversation into the home. We need to end the, "I don't know?!" traditional day-end conversation between parents and students! #waledchat
A2: I'm hoping using Flipgrid will help me learn and utilize more technology in my classroom. Learning about it has excited me, I can only imagine how excited students will be to use it. #waledchat
A1: Piloting @givethxapphttps://t.co/TtKrT2WQLK, built by Ss & Ts at my sch, w/ outside Ts to refine. Helps Ss dev the skill of gratitude. Nurtures S peer & T relationships to increase belonging, kindness, wellbeing. Any Ts for fall pilot? —> https://t.co/7Ymro7tprz#waledchat
A2: I think by being more intentional I will create more relationships. By trying #gamification I hope to be the classroom the Ss never want to leave because I am empowering them in their learning #waledchat
A3: I think there are those (Ss and Ts) that will think that turning the unit into a game is silly or takes away from the learning but I honestly believe that it takes nothing away and motivates some competitive Ss to get to work! #waledchat
A3: I’m supposed to be doing the same things as other classes so we can use uniform finals. So if I’d ask my dept chair I don’t think she’d approve. (That’s why I’m not asking...) #waledchat
A3: "Why aren't you spending more time on the curriculum?" "How does this relate to what Ss should be learning?" "Are you going to get through your curriculum?"
Questions that people in a fixed mindset will ask, and those in a growth mindset will be agitated by. #waledchat
#waledchat - A3 - I will be the third Math Instructional Coach in 3 years in my district, so there will be skepticism about my value right off the bat. Also, I want to be present in classrooms, but Ts are very resistant when it comes to other people being in their rooms.
A2: The more an educator understands how a child spends the 17 hours a day they are away from school, the better we can utilize the 7 hours that we are privileged to spend with them. #waledchat
A3: Making time and being present when I have Ss visit fhe office for rewards. Last year I was squeezing time in and not fully focused on making the most of the opportunity to work with Ss. Need to dedicate time and give full attention to them. #waledchat
I think it is an opportunity for Ss to be sarcastic and potentially inappropriate because of the anonymity, but knowing me, I will find a way to turn that into a learning opportunity too. 🤣 I don't startle easily when it comes to S behavior.
#waledchat
A3: Biggest resistance I may see in regards to project based learning may be from my students who will not be used to this. Some that are so engrained to be assessed one way may push back. #waledchat
A3: it will require more thought and effort from students, which some will be resistant to. I also know it will not be perfect the first time through so I just need to keep reminding myself of that. #waledchat
Hi #waledchat! I’m late again! Heather from NY.
I am currently sitting in the middle of nowhere looking at the stars and writing. There’s a tiny fire next to me and a pup on my feet. My sons are happily sleeping. That’s my magically positive thought 💕
A2: Curating will allow for more consistent and timely feedback to Ss. Waiting until March to have Ss look for sources hasn’t really fostered better understanding of the research process #waledchat
Hi everyone... I'm Tiffany - an Innovation Coach in Cincinnati!
A1: While continuing to offer PD & coaching, this year I hope to provide my teachers with a regular digital newsletter with tech tips, instructional strategies, shoutouts, etc. #waledchat
A3 I also sometimes feel pressure to do everything in the same way on my team, so I'm hoping that it's okay that I'm trying this out an flexing my autonomy muscles :) #waledchat
A3: The resistance in going to a S led cr is going to come from my internal conflict because I've spent most of my career being a control freak 🙄 #waledchat
A3: I’m hoping there won’t really be resistance. I shared the idea with staff last year and got a positive response. I think it’s just a matter of making it a valued activity that builds relationships, and not just as another item on the to-do-list. #waledchat
A2 Besides the fact that I’ll be better at my work if I’m healthier, if I’m going to write authentically write about values, I want to act with the self-kindness I encourage from teachers and students.
#waledchat
A2- The condition of a culture is something that we cannot overlook. As the culture improves, so do the climate, relationships, dedication, and teacher retention to name a few....all of which impact achievement. #waledchat
Ss select objects to represent various aspects from text read. You can take a photo with the text & objects & then they verbalize their thoughts about why they selected each object. #waledchat
A3 change always causes a bit of discomfort...as for sketchnoting, I'm sure kids will think they CAN'T draw, and I will teach them some easy images and then they can get creative! #GrowthMindset#waledchat
My resistance is my own making. I had plans to reach my goal over the summer and didn’t. I need to diligently hold myself accountable to my goal. #Waledchat
A3: I have to not let myself get in the way. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I know I will want it to all be amazing but logically I know it will be a work in progress. Still amazing but not perfect the first time I try it. #waledchat
A3: Ss will have TONS of questions when changes are made to traditional instruction. They are used to having someone tell them the important parts of history. #waledchat
A3: Thankfully I haven't had any. I'm starting with our 4th and 5th grade teachers who don't have the same training and level of understanding that I do. They are happy to have me help support them & the Ss. Phonics is not something they are used to teaching. #waledchat
A3: I think my ss will have a hard time adjusting to this new way of thinking. Not necessarily resistance, but fear and uncertainty. Which is why I will wear this shirt: #waledchat
A4: I actually have planned to have my first history units for 6th and 7th be hyperdocs to build and reinforce the skills we will have learned from what I am calling my "App Days Hyperdocs" #waledchat#ILikeHyperdocs
A2: I think it’s important to design with those you design for. Ts & Ss are the experts and including their authentic voice keeps me humble & makes tools more effective. Excited to get their feedback on @givethxapp. #waledchat
Ha! I've got picture books on my mind this year...in fact, I've been reading them aloud and recording myself on @Screencastify to get ready for the #GRA project this fall! #waledchat
A4: I feel that I have started off on the right foot by hosting meetings with families to meet and connect. I’ve been at events at school and also set up meetings to talk with Ss and their parents. #waledchat
A4: make sure that students are comfortable working together in the classroom on a daily basis. Also start the year off by guiding class discussions before shifting this responsibility to the Ss #WaledChat
A1: I will be trying to get every colleague on twitter chats 😁 to grow our schools #PLN.
I will also be adding to my already chaoticassroom some gamification thanks to @mrmatera & making our own slide book #ditchtext#waledchat
A3 Since this would not be a mandate I do not anticipate much push back , it would just be a matter of getting people excited to try it. I am pretty sure I can get it going with some help from @ed_maltbie@AmarisScalia@whesmesposito@rhmizrahi#waledchat
#waledchat - A4 - I just need to stay positive and prove myself as a resource for the teachers that I serve. I also need to stay consistent with PLC meetings/class visits/follow up.
A4: Being proactive and addressing this resistance up front should help people understand the purpose incorporating these new practices into my classroom. #waledchat
A3: I honestly don’t anticipate any resistance from students nor teachers. If I happen to, I’ll have a conversation about what is causing the hesitation so that I can get a better understanding of what is going on. #waledchat
A4: The biggest thing I'll need to do is set times for myself to work. Often I let myself get pulled away from things and I need to be okay with saying no to focus on me every now and then.
#waledchat
A3: Some families may feel that more community involvement may be intrusive, so it is important to focus on building relationships with these families early on. #waledchat
A4: it just emphasizes the importance of developing meaningful student relationships. If the relationship is in place, they will be willing to go on the path you take them. #waledchat
A3 I don’t think the kids will resist. There might be a few who could roll their eyes, etc. but if I can make it authentic I think they will buy in. I also think it will have a huge impact on our community. #waledchat
A4: Enthusiasm! Sharing my personal passion for making this year engaging while speaking from the heart. We have to do what's best for kids and it starts with us as leaders! #waledchat@MapleWarriors@renathunderhawk
Definitely! Having them figure out the important parts is so worthwhile, though. No one tells you what stories in the news are important... you have to figure it out yourself! #waledchat
A4: Spend time before we implement talking about the “why?”. Why is this a worthwhile activity? Get any fears or reservations out of the way. #waledchat
A4 - #walkthetalk I'll be sketchnoting along with them. I'll be modeling mistakes and silliness and showing my thinking...building relationships helps to make kids feel safe and comfortable to take risks #waledchat
A3: I'm not sure of any type of resistance bc I don't have any exp w/flipping but I'm guessing some Ss may resist having to listen/watch/take notes @ home instead of in class #waledchat
A4: I will ensure that I explain the reasons behind the sketchnoting, using flipgrid, and incorporating book bento to have Ss demonstrate comprehension. I will have samples, data, and recorded observations to share with colleagues. #waledchat
Q4:This idea was born from my principal's vision, so we are working together! We are also getting the lead teachers involved first and developing a shared place based off of what I present to the group. It's important that everyone has a voice and understands the why. #waledchat
A3: The resistance in going to a S led cr is going to come from my internal conflict because I've spent most of my career being a control freak 🙄 #waledchat
I will thoughtfully phrase my questions to limit off topic discussions. The hope would be Ss enjoy the board so much they wouldn't want to see it vandalised. Presume the positive!
#waledchat
A4) Any new idea implemented in the classroom requires purposeful opportunities, consistent modeling, gradual release and reflection - leading to an increase in student agency. #waledchat
A4: it just emphasizes the importance of developing meaningful student relationships. If the relationship is in place, they will be willing to go on the path you take them. #waledchat
A4 Be prepared to leave no doubt that it would be beneficial, be flexible and adjust when needed, collect data and be willing to share, keep it relavant. #waledchat
A5~
Just being aware of it just may simply work
~ also, have a mutual agreement w/trusted colleague to. Remind you of your potential to resist/block your own efforts by overthinking things & help you stay the course & lean in to discomfort & grow w/it 😊
#Waledchat
A4: While I'm not facing any negative toward wanting to do whole group lessons in gen ed classrooms. I am realistic and am asking for 15 to 20 minutes of time and to think of sticking with it through the trimester. #waledchat
A4: Internet is spotty tonight... some resistance I think I will get is choice in reading is often viewed as "more" reading on top of assigned books... I want my students to see structural and thematic connections... #waledchat\
A4 I just need to jump in. Sometimes I overthink things and I don’t want to sabotage myself. I will need to stay flexible and reflect after each implementation so that I can make it better the next time. #waledchat
A5: Guilty pleasure has to be Big Brother! I got hooked on it when I was younger and my parents watched it, and now I've hooked @LBStrunk on it! #waledchat
A4: By building trust w/my new Ss. If there is trust between us I'm hopeful they'll buy in bc they'll know & trust in assigning them meaningful prep work #waledchat
At first they were nervous and didn't want to show their faces. I let them use hand puppets, paper, and then taught them how to comment on each other's videos. That made them feel great and they were excited! #waledchat
A4: A game board is just a way of organizing the unit’s activities, and I think that’s something I will emphasize among other teachers - nothing is lost in terms of content! With Ss, if they don’t like the “game” idea, maybe they can think of it more like a checklist! #waledchat
A4: Early in the year I would look for ways to be involved in the community in a low-stakes manner. Attending football games, visiting local businesses, and being a partner with community supporters. #waledchat
A4: Set short and long term goals. Talk it out with colleagues. Be a part of Twitter and see questions from others who are also trying new things. #waledchat
Independent reading clubs where adults post the book they’re reading and students choose the one they’re interested in reading and that adult becomes the club host for those students interested in her book. #waledchat
A5: guilty pleasure... enjoying coffee and writing until late int the morning on the deck and star watching while writing late into the night #waledchat
A5: Not really a guilty pleasure, but I love being able to go to the gym during the day. A little ice cream is always good here and there as well.
#waledchat
A4: Listening to how Ts & Ss talk about relationships and use their words when framing the value of the #SEL shift to connect w/ them where they are. Taking their needs into account (I.e. sustainability & not one-&-done PD but continuous support). #waledchat
And if students have the opportunity to do the flipgrid submission from home, they love being able to include their pet. My middle schoolers were totally open to it when I said "yes" to that student ?. #waledchat
A4: I need to set realistic expectations for when/how often I would like to provide a resource like this. I'll need to manage my time and tackle it little by little. #waledchat
