Nearest shopping is 90mins. We make a day of it.

A1: Trips to camper, spending way too much on school supplies, and pedi mani time

I can't wait for my daughter to want to do the mani pedi before school trip.

A1: I get a new planner and start calendaring!

I did let her paint my toes. I think she got more paint on my foot instead of my toes.

A2: Last year we went on a road trip and I sent postcards to my kids. They still talk about receiving those!

I do that all on my computer. I do make it look pretty!

A2: I do not since I teach at the middle school level & normal see the majority of the Ss.

A2: I'm the media coordinator so with 300 kids it would be costly!

I do that when I go to conferences. My kids like to know I was thinking of them.

A2: I send out an email with an electronic message. With our new 360 camera, we are planning on a class tour of kindergarten!

I am taking my 2nd graders to 3rd so I used to stay in touch all summer.

A2: I've only had 1 teacher send a Welcome back to school letter to my daughter & she loved it! The boys never did received one

We do a circle map about summer break - writing and drawing. Then they get to share with one another.

A7: My AB Ss left their mark in my room by leaving their neon hand prints. I also have pictures of Ss all over my room

A7: While I was in the classroom, I always decorated but left board to be filled and items to be arranged as we used them

I put up personal pictures of my family. Most of the other things my Ss hung up.

A7: I pick the colors & the Ss from prior year leave posters & notes of encouragement, tips, & tiny gift (usually a fav pencil)
