The mission of #TynkerChat: Are we adequately preparing students for an unknown future? Can we, through community and sharing, make this unknown “known?” Let us lift up the conversation about making sure that when our students enter the workforce- they have the skills to thrive.
#TynkerChat will be held every Monday, starting March 13th.

This week we're reflecting on #hourofcode. What were/are your best moments? Follow along on our @participate page here: https://t.co/JZuKChEIBf#Tynkerchat
A1: It’s allowed our students to show their parents, administrators, and members of the community the importance of CS. Also a great time to showcase different STEM careers. #Tynkerchat
Q2 If this was not your first #hourofcode- how did it differ from previous ones? Is #coding more on kids' minds this time around?
If it was your first- was it a success?

#tynkerchat#hourofcode this year I provided more choices to get students involved in code, from coding drones, robotics to basic python coding, Grants were a big help with this ! https://t.co/I8HefBoA2V

A3: I’m in a new school district this year, where many of the Ss had never coded before the HOC. I loved tying it in cross curriculular for T’s to see, & the kids loved the freedom to create (an important skill that is often left out of education, in my opinion). #tynkerchat
Q3: We focused on sequencing and events. Something we haven’t had a lot of time to do previously. Tied into what they are learning in language arts. #TynkerChat
