My shoutout is to my husband, @O_L_Mayers & @smgaillard for your relentless support & to @hmarrs24 for inviting me to moderate #OrEdChat!

Yes! As educators, we should lead each other and lift each other up -- show others (both students and colleagues) the greatness that lies within, especially when they are unable to see it themselves. #OrEdChat
A2:I aspire others by holding up a mirror to help others see the greatness that resides within them. Too often it seems our young people doubt their own capacity and feel compelled to live out a false narrative pushed by our society. Our youth can make a difference! #oredchat

Supporting others and being others' cheerleader is a great way to aspire others! I LOVE when team members, colleagues or #PLN members cheer on and support each other!!! #OrEdChat
A2: I show a labor of love by aspiring others to think outside the box by supporting their ideas, helping with resources, and being their biggest cheerleader! #OrEdChat
A3 #OrEdchat I try to consistently choose joy no matter my circumstances. It may be in the little things such as a smile or in the big like a celebration following something momentous, but I choose to look for & dwell in those moments.
"Brain-Training" is key. We are human. It is difficult to be positive all the time, but training your brain sure does help when attempting to turn a negative into a positive! #OrEdChat
A3 - That is the easiest part when you just maintain that kind of attitude. Brain training is a key to positivity. You can always find a problem. Positive people find solutions. #OrEdChat
A2: I like to think of this as being a “Sunshine Spreader”. Light up a room with your bright outlook and smile...and laughter! One of my “Spark Starter” characteristics. I refer to it in the blog I posted today...

My shoutout is to my brother-in-law @AustinRoe12 who is super supportive of my blogging, my teaching hobby, and for just being a great friend! You rock!!

A3: Even when life passes through tough patches or the "small" burdens I face seem to mount. I will choose to smile and see hope. Hope is a choice not only for my benefit, but a benefit for all those who spend their lives with me!

Labor of Love shout out to my work family & my real family. A staff member, who happens to be a family member, had a medical emergency at school this week, & we all rallied together. We all supported each other. Lots of love to lots of folks who need to get on Twitter!#oredchat
A4 #OrEdChat I love doing the little things like picking up a coffee/tea for a friend or staff member, helping them with a project or a plan, or even just being an ear to listen after a rough day...but I do ❤️ being the one who dances around with them in celebration, too!
Shout out to @MrsHankinsClass for an inspiring and energizing #oredchat tonight! You are the #AcronymAwesomizer and led such a thought provoking conversation. It truly was a Labor of Love!
Yes! LOVE doing that! And the families truly appreciate it! I even send pics of students from previous years...like this one last week! These are my sweet girls from last year, who have come visit me every morning of this year so far.

A5 #OrEdChat This is definitely a work-in-progress area for me....Lately, it has been through running with a friend & our local running group, but I also love snuggling up with a good book and my fluffy cat cuddled in on my lap😊🏃♀️❤️📚🐱
Awww...that is so sweet. (p.s. - We eat at the Wendy's outside of our neighborhood sometimes. They try to give us free food because my name is Wendy and my husband is Dave. haha)
