Sorry. Just lost internet for a short time. Back now :)
A1: Used lists during to help us remember the to be included in tags. Useful for storing and sorting
A2. It's on the tools icon... In the lists page there is a + top right to make your own
A2 you can view lists in the settings bit on your profile. I think!
Thanks for sharing David!
That happened to us at school today for the whole day - no internet!
A2.its different on a PCs or a tablet isn't it...
Thanks got it. I'm on 18 lists. What does this mean?
Means people like you! π
Thanks Vicki! We did too!
A1. Lists are great for helping to sort and organise your twitter feeds and people you follow.
You were a fantastic tech support, Simon! Still lots of page hits after Feb ended!
Public lists allow users who are trying to create a PLN an easy start.
Me too. Really useful π
A3 Private lists allow you to begin to collaborate with others whilst researching or the use of a βsound boardβ
A3. Only you can view your private lists and private lists owned by other users will not be visible to you.
Aw that's lovely that is.
A3. Lists are public by default.
Agree, checking out the lists of the people you follow is a great way to grow your PLN
Simon do you have a list of users? If you do I do we access it for ?
No (wrist firmly slapped) I will get on to that a.s.a.p!
Like the Batline but only more efficient. If ever makes the list! π https://t.co/DF9yAyd3gI
Simon do you have a list of users? If you do I do we access it for ?
and I thought you were so organised! π
It means other tweeps have added your to their lists of people to follow!
A4 is it easier to follow chats such as this?
A4 good for growing your PLN and keeping things organised. I don't use them yet but will give it a whirl!
A4. Tools like TweetDeck allow you 2 add lists to columns so you can filter out important tweets/tweeps from your timeline
Q3 public lists are a great way for students to quickly start focused research and make connections.
I think I have made a private list while following this and then it's easy to look back over the chat
I didnβt know this. Will see if the same on Hootsuite. https://t.co/MV4MPslMaT
A4. Tools like TweetDeck allow you 2 add lists to columns so you can filter out important tweets/tweeps from your timeline
They are also great for growing your Personal Learning Network (PLN)!
A4 does it help you to filter those you follow so you can possibly focus on a particular interest group?
Thanks for joining us Michael!
A4 never thought of it like this but like Vicki will give it a whirl now So thanks Simon for highlighting.
Yes, exactly the same for HootSuite. I use it to follow particular chats and topics e.g. Computing
Again useful information - thanks David
Q5: Do you have a choice as to whether you're placed on someone elseβs list? Is there any way to opt out? https://t.co/xCFnr8sPgg
A4 interesting question Sian
Exactly. For e.g. I have list of Computing Ts. I add the list as a column in TweetDeck so I can filter those tweets
A5 I have seen lots of people add me to lists but I'm not sure how to control this.
A5 oooo ... Can't work this one out on iOS.. I have removed myself before somehow I think
I'll definitely have to try lists e.g. for me one list might be for tweeps in music education.
That just happens to be this week's challenge. You may even beat & this week :D
:) NOT present for the moment in ANY as of ALL of THEM is :((( Take a and GET some ;)
damn! I need to get quicker at this homework business!! π
Let's not get ahead of ourselves! π
Users who have opted to protect their Tweets can be added to lists. However, only your followers can see your tweets.
no! ... This is the first time I have heard of it! ... Will check it out at 10
Q6: Can I subscribe to other peopleβs lists? Do I have to follow someone to view their list? https://t.co/Ncta49TAaR
Simon are we moving into league tables for ? :))
Steady!! I can't cope with any additional pressure today! π
A6 I THINK that you can add people to lists that you don't follow ??
A6. You can also add people to lists who don't follow you back!
Ooh! League tables - now there's an idea :D
A6 I don't think you have to follow someone to view their lists.
I have just checked and you can look at other lists and I think I have just subscribed to one. Do I need permission?
2 points for a Tweet and 5 for setting up a Tweet list!
but I'll lose!!! πππππ
No - but just have thanks for your alert Jon - amazing!
