Hello, #LaEdChat! I;m Tammy Seneca, Supervisor of Technology for West Baton Rouge Parish. I'm joining from Fillmore, California tonight! I'm excited to see what @Kinemst has in store tonight! #WBRPROUD
I love going to conferences and getting lots of new tools to try. So, off the top, what are your 3 favorite digital tools in education right now? #LAEDCHAT
The key is to not being afraid to try any tech tool. Also take advantage of your students' techspertise to test tools. My Tech pages https://t.co/rhtEBHuUf9 have many pages of tech tools to try out and find more information about. Let the good Tech Times Roll #LaEdChat
Q1: I just found this incredible tool called Insert Learning. It is a Google Extension. You can add videos and questions to any webpage, article, etc. It is linked with Google Classroom so you can easily assign it to students. https://t.co/TlCS9tX90W#LAEDCHAT
A1: My top 3 favorites right now is @GoogleForEdu GSuite, @flipgrid, and Kami. Obviously the first two are for our students... I love Kami for grading papers for my graduate courses. #LaEdChat
I use it weekly to share with parents what we are doing in my classroom during the week. Also for quick reminders like early dismissal, Dress Down Day, etc. #LaEdChat

@Kinemst, @Seesaw, @RemindHQ, @quizlet
A1: So hard to pick just 3....hearing Flipgrid a lot. I agree! Also love Insert Learning...thanks to @Kinemst ! And an old favorite- Padlet- so many options with it!

Will be checking out many of these over the summer: The 90 Hottest EdTech Tools According to Education Experts (Updated For 2018) https://t.co/Hy8PAm38cb#LaEdChat
EdPuzzle is one my favorites. I used it today. I love Adobe Spark, but students must be 13 or older to use it. Sad. Perfect for younger students. #LAEDCHAT
A2: #LAedchat This is great for first graders that arent too tech savvy. They can compile a product with little complexity, but huge reward on student voice
IKR... I work with a lot with High Schools so it's not as big of an issue. My own kids just use my account but @Adobe@creativecloud@AdobeEdu makes GREAT Tools!!! #LAEDCHAT

My students were talking about this one today. And while I was at the ballpark I had one student tonight sharing stuff with me that she created for fun at home ๐ #laedchat
A3: Just found Cllipchamp....all new design and function! We used to use it for webcam video...but all new editing tools. Can't wait to try it!
#LaEdChat
A4: I hate the word "favorite"...there's no way to pick! I've been using National Geographic MapMaker Interactive lately and love it! Great way to customize maps and see different filters!

Has anyone used ClassHook? It takes video clips from TV shows and creates teachable moments that are tied back to the content standards. Free. New Find that I can't wait to try. #LAEDCHAT
Another new find is AutoDraw. Students begin to draw and it guesses what they are drawing and completes it for the student. https://t.co/bPPWPOgOfQ#LAEDCHAT
Yes!! Talk about personalized learning!! Ss can move through curated activities at their own pace. You can "lock" activities so it has an @breakoutEDU feel too, but digital! You'll love it!! @SpencerKiper opened my eyes!! #LAEDCHAT

@Kinemst, @DeckToys, @GoogleForEdu, @goformative, @breakoutEDU, @SpencerKiper
I just found a new tool like @quizizz and @GetKahoot. It is called @baamboozle
Has anyone tried it? Students play in teams and it has some fun tricks. #LAEDCHAT
