I've never had to do the NH alt, but I've seen it in various incarnations. The MCAS-alt may not be fun, but it does make sense.

Heard of schools that open say at 6:30 and close around 7 or 8P. Come in as early or as late as one schedule permits. or leave/ret.

The community college system is well suited for something like this. They already are geared towards this audience.

I think a market is growing, esp as schools look at providing students opportunities to earn Assoc degrees in HS.

A lot of why I got out of teaching transition. E.g. Can't teach ind. travel in an area w/ no pubtrans; chronic dependency.

District sizes vary but local schools are under local control. Very little x-pollination when $ comes from local community.
