A1: Rob Miller, Asst Supt, Sand Springs. I'm looking forward to an entire week at work with no #oklaed state reports or audits. And watching leaves fall from my trees.
Tyler Bridges, @k20center Associate Director and advocate for #oklaed. I’m excited that I get to venture to @mpswardogs with @snrsbeattxs to do some strategic planning! Should be great.
Kevin Hime Superintendent #cpsreds. Looking forward to Friday. I️ get the privilege of handing bonus/stipend checks to all employees. $2,000 certified and $1,500 support #OklaEd
Brian Hayes, Glenpool MS Vocal Music Director. I’m excited about having 53 students in my select choir and about 2nd Round All-OCDA Choir Auditions. #oklaed
A1 I feel that quick & effective communication throughout all levels of a school is necessary for an effective leader. Being able to communicate your ideas and hear others will benefit the entire school #oklaed
A1 -- I don't need ANSWERS right away...sometimes I just need to think out loud...so someone who can ask thoughtful questions and support me when I don't know. #oklaed
A1 The best leaders encourage innovative thinking, are open to ideas, inspire others to lead, and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty they jump in and serve! #oklaed
A1) Leaders have to be able to communicate well, be able to have others perspective, create and develop a culture, be a constant learner, and be able to think outside the box. #oklaed
A1: Learner, innovator, honest, friendly, status quo challenger, outgoing, time-manager, organized, communicator, shows care & concern for others (that last one is kind of a big deal in our positions) #oklaed
A1 time management! know when to say no. Courage to confront difficult situations. Model learning & growth everyday. Listen listen listen. Inspire others to grow and learn. Positive culture creator. Find a way to have fun. #oklaed
A2: a GOOD leader might give ideas but a GREAT leader will be in the trenches helping implement the best ones. A great school leader is out in schools. #oklaed
A2 -- A GREAT leader keeps teachers, students, and parents in the loop, and finds ways to support us all. Is honest about struggles and doesn't necessarily give you what you want when you want it. #oklaed
A2: I think a Great lrd knows who they lead and speaks to them differently based on #myersbriggs or color or poer animals. Point is they individualize message based on receiver. #oklaed
A2 attention to detail. If you notice something great, leave a little note taped on a door or in a mailbox. Make it personal, not just business.#oklaed

@collums_dawn
A1. A good leader in my opinion is one that will listen to those in their charge just as much as they tell those folks what to do. Also, they must love the students just as much as any teacher in the classroom does. #oklaed
A2 A good leader is efficient and gets the job done...a great leader has a servant heart, inspires others to lead, is always growing and learning! #oklaed
#OklaEd A2: Building trusting relationships, engaging reports in developing a meaningful mission statement (“Full Steam Ahead”), and working to see the team has the resources needed to address the mission statement effectively.
A1: A good teacher has a strong focus on his/her classroom and does everything they can to better their classroom. A great teacher does everything they can to better the school and the lives of students. #oklaed
A3 Take the time to get to know the staff on a personal level. Show that you care about them as people. Oh donuts, crispy bacon, & coffee never hurt either. #oklaed
A3 School leaders can listen to and trust those who work for them. When people are valued, they will be able to build and sustain that positive climate. #oklaed
A3: keep open communication, be open to creative ideas/suggestions. Be willing to listen to conflict and don’t shy away from doing the right thing to fix it. #oklaed
Just like I shouldn't only speak to a parent when their child is in trouble, admin shouldn't only speak to a student when he/she is in trouble. #oklaed
A3 #oklaed Insist upon universal respect. Treat people with dignity, even when they don't deserve it. Find a way to embrace the people who make your life the hardest - without losing support of the rock stars who just want to serve kids.
A3: Understand that it takes intentionality to grow and sustain great culture. Be aware of it, have your finger on its pulse, and give it a boost when necessary. See, feel, do. #oklaed
A3) They are not always just in their office and are out investing time and energy in their team. They are out talking with stakeholders in the community as building relationships to help make the school community stronger. #oklaed
A3 engage. Get in the weeds and get to know your staff at all levels, their strengths and weaknesses, and your kids, AND your community. (It’s a tall order, but if you want to impact your climate, it’s about making connections/building relationships.) #OklaEd
Just like I shouldn't only speak to a parent when their child is in trouble, admin shouldn't only speak to a student when he/she is in trouble. #oklaed
#OklaEd A3: Keep everyone involved in knowing their involvement in developing the mission statement (Effective Learning), planning for its implementation, and being deeply involved in that implementation of the plan.
A2: Great leaders will not only “talk the talk” but will “walk the walk” as well. They will find ways to utilize resources, staff, etc to make things better. They have a vision for what their school and its staff can become and will sacrifice all to make it come true. #oklaed
A3 -- It's important too, to be up on all the regulations and policies, and to have thought about how that will affect the school and teachers and students. I want a leader who has studied his profession. #oklaed
A3: Lead by example, do the little things like pick up trash in the hall, take bus duty in the rain. Treat everyone from the custodian to the superintendent with the same respect! #OklaED
A4: Sometimes; other times, I don't know a decision was to be made until it is decided. Committees and such should probably be voted on by the Ts. #oklaed
A4: this year, yes but last year I was somewhere else and we were all stifled (why I’m gone). It’s the worst. In that case, admin had plain lost sight of the big picture. Students were pushed to the wayside. Data was king. #OklaEd
A4 it would depend what is considered "important". I feel that I am heard often and concerns are shared. But, I don't feel that every "important" decision should include me. Does it benefit student learning? If so, I'm on board #oklaed
A4: I feel like my school leader encourages input from teachers and considers opinions and makes decisions accordingly. But still makes the tough decisions needed even if we don't agree. That's what a leader does. Makes the tough calls. #oklaed
Which I know Isn’t always their fault either with the pressures they’re under. But we have to push back and keep our big picture. At some point.. #oklaed
A4: this year, yes but last year I was somewhere else and we were all stifled (why I’m gone). It’s the worst. In that case, admin had plain lost sight of the big picture. Students were pushed to the wayside. Data was king. #OklaEd
A4: Without a doubt they should have a huge voice. They are the lifeblood of the organization. Leaders should seek their input and value it.
If you wanna know, just ask! #oklaed
a4: I actually do think @EpicCharter does an amazing job at listening to us. I have had an impact of several things at our school. Other Ts as well. But they know when to say NO too. #oklaed
A4 -- I taught in the golden years of 'site-based management' when teachers really did impact policies at schools. I watched it die with #NCLB and #RttT. SO many regulations and rules and laws have eroded teacher voice in schools. #DebbieDowner#oklaed
A4: sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It's very inconsistent. Survey your staff to get a feel for their needs and wants. Let them be a part of the decision making. Giving your teachers a voice can make a huge positive impact on your school's climate and culture. #oklaed
A4) My lack of experience, being a first year teacher, could lead to my voice falling on deaf ears but not here in Clinton. I have been asked for my input on multiple occasions. It is good to feel heard and valued. #oklaed
A4) Don't just say, "My door's always open." That's like telling a student "Come in before school for help" w/out getting in the trenches to see how/why they're struggling. #oklaed
A3 know & understand your “why” make sure others know & understand & make sure your why continues to fit the needs of the school. People buy why you sell what you sell not what you sell. #oklaed

A4 Nope. Wish I felt like my opinion was important. My district does a better job with this than my building. You need to listen to all of your staff, not just the squeaky wheels. You may have to seek out their opinions. #OklaEd
A4 Yes I feel I have a voice, fortunate to have admin who listen and encourage. It works both ways if you want to be heard you have to speak up...Ts have to take some responsibility in relationship. #oklaed
A4 -- Leaders can advocate for their teachers...they can encourage teacher leadership...Leading from the classroom is so rewarding. Gives you credibility while you're doing what you love. #oklaed
A4) All teachers, many community members, and support staff have a voice at our school. We are made to feel effective in our jobs to better educate our students. #oklaed
A3: Borrowing a quote, they should “Be the change they want to see in the school, it’s teachers, and it’s students” If you want a positive environment, you have to be positive in mindset and action. #oklaed
A4) Don't just say, "My door's always open." That's like telling a student "Come in before school for help" w/out getting in the trenches to see how/why they're struggling. #oklaed
A4) My lack of experience, being a first year teacher, could lead to my voice falling on deaf ears but not here in Clinton. I have been asked for my input on multiple occasions. It is good to feel heard and valued. #oklaed
A4: Keep an open line of communication, it must be intentional. It is a team effort. Also I've found that if I do a better job of explaining decisions it is easier to get more on board. #OklaED
A5: give them opportunities to grow in areas where they find inspiration & thrive. Offer opportunities to let them shine. Share awesome things they’re doing. Show grace when they have a hiccup. It’s a hard job for everyone. #oklaed
A5, kind of goes back to the heart of Q4, but ask for their input. Hear Ps can't be everywhere in a school. Listen to your Ts. They will tell you the schools needs. Hearing & addressing those needs will empower the Ts. #oklaed
A5) We have a “BINGO” card we complete each month. Each square has something to accomplish. I have been pushed from my comfort zone on occasion, and have learned a great deal. I feel more empowered, because knowledge is power! #oklaed
My principal does a great job at this...
When teachers bring ideas, ask clarifying questions, pushback, encourage, and then let them go!
Providing the chance for autonomy proves trust. If the teacher fails, so be it! But the trust is empowers the teacher to dream.
#oklaed
A5: Be present. Listen to listen. Follow through on your promises. Encourage your teachers to be innovative, to take risks, and to never stop growing. #oklaed
A5 #oklaed Don't be a control freak. Expect professionals to be good at their jobs. Closely supervise the ones who need help, but don't breathe down their necks.
I don't believe this has to be so though. I still see quite a few schools with genuine autonomy. It's a decision we can make if we have the courage. #oklaed
A4 -- I taught in the golden years of 'site-based management' when teachers really did impact policies at schools. I watched it die with #NCLB and #RttT. SO many regulations and rules and laws have eroded teacher voice in schools. #DebbieDowner#oklaed
A5: Let them lead! Give them responsibilities to exhibit their leadership and collaborate with their peers.
Just like students, teachers will shine when you develop them, give them a share, and release them to do a job well. #oklaed
A5) Empowerment is founded on ownership, which flourishes when you eliminate micro-management and embrace transparency and trust. Make that shift mentally and the rest follows. #oklaed
A5b - Brag on T's through announcements when deserved. Last year I won a national award and was accepted to a summer research fellowship and heard almost nothing from building or district admin. I don't teach for praise but would have been nice. #oklaed
A5)I am empowered at my school because I'm valued. I can state ideas; I can fail without harm; my success is shared with positive reinforcement; I am expected to succeed. #oklaed
A5 be aware of areas where I know my stuff...and let me run with those. Help me develop into a better leader by giving me hands-on opportunities to practice. #OklaEd
A5 -- let me fail. But support my struggles. Don't tell me I have power over a situation unless I really DO. Be honest about what We can change and what we can't. Listen when I cry, but don't rush in to solve my problem. #oklaed
A4: No. I have tried to get more involved with those types of decisions but feel that since I’m just the choir director and this is only my 3rd year there, they may not take me seriously. #oklaed
Ya know what I love that my admin does.. she leaves positive notes in my mailbox randomly. Do more of that #oklaed. I told her how much I appreciate that. Please do more of that! #oklaed
A5: can I say “don’t scold everyone in a staff meeting for something one person did?” I get paranoid over things I’ve never even been close to doing 😂 to me, this is almost like whole class punishments. Ugh. #oklaed
I pin the notes I get from my admin up on my wall for my students to see. They love it! They get to see positive interaction between me and my principal. #oklaed it's so healthy!
A5: Involve teachers in decisions that will have a direct effect on their day to day teaching when possible. If I say something will be teacher led, then I better mean it. If teachers bring an issue to me, I should work hard to address it. #OklaED
A5 -- let me fail. But support my struggles. Don't tell me I have power over a situation unless I really DO. Be honest about what We can change and what we can't. Listen when I cry, but don't rush in to solve my problem. #oklaed
A6) Help the teacher find out the why behind the behavior, all behavior is communication. Is there a non-academic barrier you can help address? #oklaed
A6 -- one principal, @scouter42, who told teachers he'd totally support teachers in a first dust-up w a student. No ??? asked. Second time, he'd be vigilant about looking at both sides...and would work with us to expand our own skills at management if he saw patterns #oklaed
A4b: I would like to see the admin sit those of us with fewer years there at GMS down and ask if we would like to be more involved in some way. I would be willing to help with just about anything. #oklaed
A5 allow Ts to teach each other regardless of grade level, if I struggle with organization but a kinder T has great ideas, let me know she can be a resource. #oklaed
A6 #oklaed Give them support so they can teach, but help them reintegrate students into classrooms. All kids matter. Find ways to preserve learning for all.
A6)I can be supported by being trusted. I can handle situations, and first and foremost, I am EXPECTED to handle discipline. That's part of my job. Like most teachers, we rise to reach our expectations. #oklaed
A6) Actually taking care of the issue and being proactive in communication on plans for repeat or more severe infractions. Also, reinforcing to the student that their behavior wasn’t acceptable. #oklaed
A6: SUPPORT. I’ve also been in a building (same building) where teachers were punished for not handling their own behavior. Even extreme. It’s so nice to have unconditional support. #oklaed
A6 -- one principal, @scouter42, who told teachers he'd totally support teachers in a first dust-up w a student. No ??? asked. Second time, he'd be vigilant about looking at both sides...and would work with us to expand our own skills at management if he saw patterns #oklaed
A5: can I say “don’t scold everyone in a staff meeting for something one person did?” I get paranoid over things I’ve never even been close to doing 😂 to me, this is almost like whole class punishments. Ugh. #oklaed
A6 Know that I'm trying to help my kids. I want them to be successful. Sometimes that means a kid just needs an attitude adjustment. Sometimes a kid needs discipline. Sometimes a kid needs some perspective. I'm not being mean. I want them to grow. #oklaed
#OklaED A6: Encourage and support teacher efforts that make Learning desired in the first place and then help build changing of those that slip (rather than turning to punishment - except in rare unavoidable cases).
A6 I think it’s importantly try to get T’s to be reflective when they have trouble w/student behavior. Yes we have to solve the problem at hand but what can we maybe do different to prevent the next event? #oklaed
A6: Work with the teacher is determine why the student is exhibiting this negative behavior, brainstorm ways to encourage positive behavior, share ideas that may help #oklaed
A6: believe us when we reach out to you! If I come to you I have exhausted all other avenues. If I come to you I really need help. So help me! Give me strategies that maybe I didn't think of. #oklaed
A6: Know your teachers. Some situations need a conversation while others need a consequence. Invest your time with new teachers, be visible & available to all. #oklaed
Our principals at MCHS have done a good job with the reintegration part. I have improved greatly in this area due to their help and their openness to my ?'s. #oklaed
A6 -- I appreciated that principals KNEW if I wrote a referral, student needed to have a do-better talk. They knew I'd done everything in my toolbox. Always felt supported because I'd done MY part. #oklaed
A6: Mediate/mitigate, help Tt figure out what is causing behavior, support Tt efforts to manage their classrooms, point Tt who need them to resources like https://t.co/m43IyKGLvZ#Oklaed
A6: I had a prob once with disciple. I am pretty laid back, but the kiddo came back from the office within 10 mins eating a candy bar the P sold him. >:-/
I did not renew my contract there.
#oklaed
A3) Like a family, takes a ton of work, hard conversations sometimes, and tons of care...all centered around creating as many possibilities for kids' lives (now and later) as possible. #oklaed
A6: being present in classrooms, providing Pd & classroom management strategies to help struggling Ts, being consistent w/school-wide discipline & behavior expectations #oklaed
Remember that teachers won't let you be an instructional leader if they don't respect you as a building manager first. Adults fit into Maslow's hierarchy of needs too. #oklaed
A6: Be consistent, and be willing to give an explanation if a teacher has a question about what was done. It's also another opportunity to work with teachers to establish school expectations. #OklaED
A7 do not overlook issues. Address them consistently, but fairly. Act how you want your staff to act. Your attitude and priorities are seen by Ts and Ss #oklaed
A7 -- don't expect ME to address negative colleagues. Notice. Solve the little stuff before it disrupts the school. Build relationships with us all. But don't ignore disruptive stuff. It wears us all down. #oklaed
A7) address situations, expect adults to respect one another and handle themselves appropriately. Don't let things go, hoping they will blow over #oklaed
A7: Be honest and open. If you establish strong relationships early, this shouldn't be a problem. Also- you get what you expect. Hold your teachers to high expectations and model the desired behaviors!#oklaed
A7 Counsel. Find out the cause behind the behavior and help to address it. Then follow through with the teacher. Don’t expect behavior to get better if you ignore it...it won’t. We aren’t that different from our students sometimes. #OklaEd
A7 Quickly address it. Employees can be the the biggest bullies in the building. It's our job to guarantee a safe learning environment and prevent a hostile workplace. #oklaed
A7 do not overlook issues. Address them consistently, but fairly. Act how you want your staff to act. Your attitude and priorities are seen by Ts and Ss #oklaed
Q7) The culture they create will dictate how they handle it. Either the direction of energy has got to be refocused to align more with the core values, or if it goes long enough and the team member doesn’t align, they may need to move on. #oklaed
A7)If someone is negative, a leader probably can't do much with them. So work all kinds of positives around the negative. Have fun with the positives. They'll eventually lessen or jump on board. Success finds success. #oklaed
A7) Don't hide behind your boss's boss or red tape. Have high expectations. When we don't meet them, tell us why you have those expectations in the first place. #oklaed
This happened a LOT at my last building too. Stickers, knick knacks, usually given by the secretary because the principal wouldn’t even see them. #oklaed
A7: Be strong enough to address the concerns. call them out and work through it. Ts have to call each other out as well. Leadership at all levels. #oklaed
#OklaED A7: Listen to understand their history and then work with empathy to help them to develop ways of changing their reality and support efforts to implement.
A7: Discuss one on one with that employee, collaborate with the employee to implement a plan to improve, check back with the employee regularly #oklaed
A5: Leaders can empower us sometimes by just being the example of what they want their teachers to be. Sometimes they empower by listening to the suggestions of others and applying those suggestions because sometimes they aren’t the smartest people in the room. #oklaed
A7: Never ignore it or it will grow. Shift the Monkey, Move the Cheese, Start the Bus. Whatever you do, stoke your stars fires and shape up or ship out your negative influences. #oklaed
A7 An immediate conference would be in order for the bully. A reminder of teacher contract for the late one. PD for the unproductive one for a start #oklaed
A6: I had a prob once with disciple. I am pretty laid back, but the kiddo came back from the office within 10 mins eating a candy bar the P sold him. >:-/
I did not renew my contract there.
#oklaed
A7: Be strong enough to address the concerns. call them out and work through it. Ts have to call each other out as well. Leadership at all levels. #oklaed
A7: Avoid the “blanket monkey.” Address the problem with the employee at issue. Is it fixable? Are they willing to fix it? If yes, guide them to/through the fix. If not, perhaps counsel them out. #Oklaed
A8: Willingness to learn and the knowledge of what good instruction looks like regardless of subject or grade level.
Number one rule though? Be present in classes! Nothing good ever happens in the dark. #oklaed
A8 #oklaed Understand that good instruction looks different in some classrooms. Let teachers tell you about their curriculum. Look for excellence in teaching and learning. Share what you're learning without preaching or boasting.
A8: someone who seeks new methods/strategies of instruction, who learns from one’s own experiences is the classroom, who is willing to learn along with Ts & who is present in classrooms regularly #oklaed
I have been through 26 years of professional, & most PD has been a repeat of what I have already learned. I want new ideas, not the same ideas repackaged as something else with a new and improved educational catch-phrase. #oklaed
A8) Never forgetting what it's like to be a teacher in the classroom. But never letting their own limited teaching experiences dictate how they lead teachers. #oklaed
A8 Know your pedagogy...and keep up with the research. Share it with me. Encourage me to keep learning content and pedagogy. Come into my classroom, sit at a table, and participate with the kids—be a model for ALL of us. #OklaEd
A8 -KNOWING the curriculum and how it works with policy and regulations. CARE about what happens. KNOW the pedagogy. Had a P visit my class during a cooperative lesson that was fantastic. He was disappointed. Wanted to 'see me teach. #LeSigh#oklaed
A8 Knowledge of current curricula and teaching methods. Mastery? No. Ps willing to ask questions about subjects and teaching methods from their Ts will only help to empower the Ts #oklaed
A8: One who is knowledgeable on best practices, innovative teaching, and current curriculum and standards. One who encourages teachers to take risks in the classroom and to share their learning with other teachers. One who gives teachers voice and choice in their PD #oklaed
A8: Make time to be in classrooms, ask teachers questions about your instructional plan. Ask your staff how we can improve our plan. Own your instructional plan, do not stand in front of your staff and say that the district is "forcing" us to do this. #oklaed
A7) I think vast majority want to do right by students. Authentic, well-supported, teacher-driven PD most often helps (admin can help guide to quality opportunities/orgs). For prob. behaviors, I'm a fan of calm but direct. "Here's what I'm seeing/hearing." Just hard. #oklaed
A8 - had another teacher come and sit with me during plan. He wanted to know about my R4P class. Asked smart questions and took notes. He wanted to KNOW. To LEARN. Modeling at its best. #oklaed
A8) It goes back to the showing more than telling. My principal it constantly at a variety of school events and involved in events to better himself or the school. This in turns makes me want to do the same. #oklaed
A8: Be visible, available. Know what your students need in your building and put together a team that give it to them without caring who gets the credit. #oklaed
A8 IMHO a willingness to analyze data and make decisions based on data rather than on assumptions; knowing where each T and S is in the context of where they to be. #oklaed
A9 Listen to us. Talk to us, address concerns with us. See our strengths and help us see where we need more work. Help stay strong, and shore up weak areas. #oklaed
A9: I leave a positive post-its at every observation, take notes & pictures of instruction in @Evernote & email to Ts, and use @voxer to give immediate feedback #oklaed
I don't usually want word of mouth to be the first way I hear feedback. I can see cases where it might be okay, but I think face time means something. #oklaed
A8: A Principal who is willing to model instructional strategies and take chances in front of staff is on the road to being a great instructional leader. #oklaed
A9 Begin waaaaaaay before feedback is needed by developing a positive relationship with Ts. Then, when feedback is req'd there is an understanding between one another. #oklaed
A9 #oklaed If you see something (good or bad), say something. Drop by and tell the teacher you're impressed. Leave a note on his/her desk. Brag to other staff. Live-tweet TLE.
Kidding about the live-tweeting TLE part...
A9 -- if Ps are able to be out and about, popping into classrooms, feedback can be timely and relevant. We are seriously ignoring the fact Ps can seldom get out of their offices...HOW can we help make that happen? #oklaed
A9 TALK TO ME...come visit my classroom as often as you can (I respect that you have a plate full of crazy!) and then let’s just visit. One formal evaluation every year or two or whatever gives us little of substance to learn from. #OklaEd
A9 -- I'm seeing lots of folks suggest notes! YES!! I saved every one of those to remind me, on bad days, that I did something right once! Notes, please!! #oklaed
A9: We use a feed back form, done on google docs that is emailed back to the teacher after a walk through is done. Also good old fashioned face to face feedback is always great. #OklaED
A9) Email, text, message, stop by my room. We received a text of appreciation tonight. It’s not the first one I’ve received, but it was especially moving. I appreciate all the positivity my principal exudes #oklaed
A9)Good Leaders take the time and find it important to offer feedback asap. It's one of their priorities to talk, e-mail, give a thumbs up, leave a note, text, or call. #oklaed
A9: Set up an #Observeme system within your school! Write constructive emails/notes with positives and specific ways to improve. Hold timely discussions! #oklaed
A9: my P has us sign up for pre observation conf, observation, and post ob conf. Accountability among teachers. I like it. My post is tomorrow & I look forward to her feedback. #oklaed
A9 make time for and be willing to have the conversations. Also must have systems in place to generate meaningful data without cr8ing a testing machine. #oklaed
A9) Realizing that all feed back doesn’t need to be in official form. It can be a quick 2 minute conversation or a quick email so the intent and effect isn’t lost in translation. #oklaed
If principals strive to learn how to be better in their admin roles, chances are they’ll be better leaders. Also, I think that if they were successful in their classrooms before becoming administrators, they’ll more than likely be better in their admin roles. #oklaed
A9: Most feedback to Ts (too often seen in walkthroughs) is ineffective. #NoEmails Feedback via face to face conversations & then followed up after T has had chance to improve practice is key. #oklaed
A9: Be timely and intentional on feedback, share at least one positive that you see (like we require our Teachers to share with parents at conferences) #oklaed
A9) when I give Ts feedback, I want to meet them where they are at and help connect them to what they need to improve. I also want to help them make goals based on our convos. You don't have to be bad to get better! #OklaEd
A10 I appreciate Mr. Fontaine because he was the first principal who cared about my success as a teacher. He was willing to both listen and offer timely feedback to help me grow. I am alt. cert. so this was a huge gamechanger for me. #oklaed
My Principal makes sure the post observation conference is within 5 days of observation. It needs to be sooner than later. Your T is waiting. Don't leave them hanging. Be respectful! #oklaed
A10) I love my AP for being my weight loss accountability partner. She knew I'd be a better teacher if I felt better about myself, so she was my coach/trainer/nutritionist until I lost 30lbs! Over and above! #oklaed
A10 I appreciate my superintendent Dr Romines because I know that he cares about my students, their well-being, their opportunities, and their futures. He’s kind of a big deal. #OklaEd
A9: Be in the classrooms of those teachers as much as possible. I know given the current climate that isn’t easy but as a teacher, I want to know what they think of how I do my job and about how I can better serve my students. #oklaed
I learned a lot from Mr. Winkle and called him a lot my first year when I left North to become an admin. Just as I learned a lot about listening to Ss from you. #mentorship#OklaEd
A10)I appreciate my principal, Mr. Hilterbran because he wants me to succeed and has high expectations of me. I appreciate my superintendent, Me. Hime because he fights for our profession and values me as an educator. #oklaed
A10 I️ appreciated Jim Anderson because he arrived at school early to make sure lights were on and everything was in order and he left wonderful notes! I️ have them all. #oklaed
A10: I appreciate @coach57 because he acts with integrity in every situation. He has been an educator for 32 years and hasn’t stopped growing and learning yet! Thankful for his leadership at work and home 😃#oklaed#cpsreds
