The arts. I donโt integrate nearly as much as Iโd like to, but itโs a constant goal. I use art and music to teach tone and mood, creative opportunities to represent, tableau to help build emotion & understanding...so much more to do #bfc530
Each assessment has an artistic alternate or component. Especially in anatomy I have gotten some amazing things from Ss that I could never have developed myself #bfc530

Yeah it seems that Maths, reading and writing are the compulsory subjects. the other subjects takes a bit more time and effort into involving them in the classroom.
Connect content to art and music history, have maker spaces in every room and encourage alternative means to expressing authentic learning, write, read and draw! #bfc530
When my learners make/create they are using skills that they have learned in other areas. Connecting my learners with learners in other countries to exchange dances pulls in other forms of art. #bfc530
I wish i would do more of this. I usually use videos and songs to reinforce math concepts. Had the students complete an art project for Pi Day that many really liked. #bfc530
Encourage creativity and facilitate opportunities for hands on expression and making, model interest in the arts and help Ss find their passions! #BFC530
We have had a playlist, but I started playing the Pop Goes Classical playlist after a parent suggested it - we are loving it - and I like the kids hearing classical instruments! #bfc530
Our advanced Art classes use our plain white walls as canvases for beautiful murals! Here is the 10 yr. anniversary logo they designed https://t.co/J7c8zVwRYx#bfc530
I disagree! Not a skill, you just need to find your own rhythm. I think thatโs why our 6th graders are good at it, they donโt care yet-they just DO IT! What it looks like doesnโt matter, it isnโt about the ART, itโs about whether or not you recorded the information #bfc530
One quick answer from me:
I've been reading a book on personality traits. There are 16 altogether and it's all creative traits too. I would want to make sure my students know what they're good at and how they can best hone in their creativity. #bfc530
I love doing 1 point and 2 point perspective drawings when teaching parallel and perp lines. I speak Spanish everyday within my classroom during transitions. A project I really want to do is build Little Free Libraries w/ Geometry cotaught with Industrial Art T. #BFC530
