Have a PD in-service in January - ST MATH and standards based grading, I believe. Been a hard transition to SBG this year.

I think of this often! I have lunch duty outside cafe. There are a few kids who sit with me everyday instead of going inside. I can't get any "work" done. But I am actually doing the work when I listen to them:)

My next out of school PD is @FETC in January. Honestly... I have a hard time calling anything school or district provided as "PD" ... none of it stretches my thinking or ability #bfc530
The next one for sure for me is a two-day #STEM PD in May. I have a few more meetings with our district librarians as well. Learning how everything works in my new district and state is my focus as well. #bfc530

In February I'm attending the @lceeq conference on Well-Being. A huge lure was that @DrJeanforkids will be a keynote speaker. I'll be attending with my admin, head teacher and our spec ed tech. #bfc530

Sounds great! Python is so versatile and getting students to learn to code - even at a basic level - is a super important life skill! Keep up the good work! #bfc530

I just attended a great conference, #vascd2018. Great keynotes and I was even fortunate enough to to be a presenter! I’m leading PD in January for teachers in our district. #bfc530
I did a 30-hour @responsiveclass training back in August, and two weeks ago a colleague and I attended the Rutgers University Suicide Prevention conference as we move to a Trauma Sensitive School model. Is it OK to be PD-overloaded for the year?

#bfc530 Enrolled into @creativecommons educators certification program. Starts in Jan. Was always curious about what they do and as a user myself wish to better equip myself for future projects + potential further PD

Agreed. Last year I only managed about half....I listen while I walk, and once school is out, will listen as I ‘do stuff’ in the house! At least I started right at the beginning this time! I also bought @ShakeUpLearning Slides & C’room PD, goal is to do them too 🙄 #BFC530

It should be noted that this is year 17 for me ... I have a Masters in EdTech ... I am highly involved in EduTwitter and am in a perpetual state of learning about my craft ... it would be extremely difficult for any district to stretch me #bfc530
im in a district with 10K teachers ... I am not going to have any unrealistic expectations .... I know how to get my own information without Administrative/District guidance. #bfc530
The thing about #bfc530 that everyone is missing is that we are on the verge of runaway climate change and we need a complete re-think of the global economy to ensure a just society & avoid planetary catastrophe.
