A1: Continued all of our lifting goes on from 6:45 to 7:30 AM then Classes, Practice 4 to 6:30ish. So plenty of recovery time.

A2: Focus lifts are Bench, Squat, and Power Clean. We add st leg dead lifts, pull ups and shrugs.

We discovered are athletes grades went up, because not sleeping thru 1st 2 periods & we feed after showering before class

True. We don't want to get weaker. We do want them faster. We are tempo "o", so we do some tempo lifts.

We also r crazy about proper technique & correct lifting / we also will sacrifice power for speed. Speed beats size at HS level

A3: we do not condition on days we lift but we do some conditioning 1 day. We try to get them conditioned during practice.

Thurs lift is not a strength/power lift. Injury prev., extra needs, gun show. Essentially a shake out. Not CNS taxing at all.
