A1 Primarily summary writing. Sometimes lab write ups. It has to be super structured with sentence stems & paragraph frames.

For simple short responses I like to emphasize IQIA-incorporate question into answer. It helps Ss get started. Ss r Petrified!

A1: We use lab summaries as our main avenue of science writing and we structure the heck out of it at the beginning of the year.

A1 We provide a general rubric as well as sentence frames/stems for Ss at the start. No confusion for what Ts want
