A1: having the same goal/pupose really helps in having a successful partnership

A1 some of the best partnerships have come when I feel all parties voices are heard
A1: listening, building trust and learning from each other. Bringing each other's strengths to the table.

Q2: What factors cause partnerships to be unsuccessful? How can we avoid those factors?
YES! How often are we quick 2highlight negatives/weakness instead of focusing on strengths of those we partner with
& as long as people are willing to listen & keep in mind the purpose, "disagreements" & such are overcome

A2) belief in others' negative intention, desire/preference to just go solo, belief in my-way-is-the-only-way :-(
A2 for me if I feel I'm not being heard I tend to shut down. So not listening & not working on same goal
A2: it's important to always assume good will --otherwise too easy to get upset when sharing unformed ideas

A2 A good partner sees your weakness as a glorious opportunity to be useful, helpful, supportive and expects the same in return.
Can consistently assuming good intention have a limit? 5 years of undermining team but always w "good intention"? :-(
we took knowledge from a previous unit to apply DT, created actionable solutions, coached my Ts
oh--yeah, way too long. Umm.. assume good intention until burned? Not a fan of saboteurs

next we are prototyping systems for social and environmental justice to help users
it's a word that we intentionally use at school--someone undermining agreed upon norms, goals, etc.
