A1) From the Formative Five: @TomHoerr ālike the water in which fish live, it is al around us, all the time, a schools culture affects how we feel, think, and actā Think of culture how do we think feel and act? Itās a big idea to reflect on and one I have been a lot #BookCampPD
"We must always begin with the belief that kids can.āCulturize @casas_jimmy this really resonated with me because I think in meetings we often get caught up in what student's can't do instead of empowering them with what they can. #bookcamppd
Q2. Did the author of a book you're currently reading provide any pertinent web links for readers to use? If so, would you please share one of them? #BookCampPD
LOVE this quote, read #startwithwhy last summer and that has become the number 1 question I ask myself, why am I doing something a certain way #BookCampPD
Reading @pamallyn#EveryChildASuperReader "Devlp a sense of hope aftr rdg stories w charctrs who persevere thru chalenge-Talk abt wht hope means & why it's imprtnt to lives of charctrs" Love how developing #SEL thru story fosters respect for others and self process.#BookCampPD
It can be hard to find the positives. If we thought about those and how to increase what students are doing then what they "can't" do would become less. #BookCampPD
A2. Enjoy listening to Tedx Talks? Brian Aspinall @mraspinall shares three of them at this link - https://t.co/BBYH9tntKU Love how he "Googled it" as so many of us have to do :-) #BookCampPD
Agreed! Fell in love with the very addicting and versatile #BookSnap a few months ago-applicable for a variety of levels and formative assessment flexibility where you meet students where they are as digital learners and lovers. #BookCampPD Thx agn @TaraMartinEDU
A2: At the end of each chapter of #InnovatorsMindset@gcouros has notes listing various websites, youtube, and full books. I haven't had the chance to check those out yet. #BookCampPD

I recently read Hacking the Writing Workshop by @AngelaStockman and I continue to reflect on her dedication page. Acknowledging that as teachers we make mistakes and continue to grow and learn and get better is so important. #BookCampPD
A3 Our campus has no plans for a summer book study. If a fall book study doesn't appear to be in the works, will be looking to start one myself! #bookcamppd
A3. #BookCampPD has amazing authors joining every other week during the summer - #FAR - Friends and Reading! Check out the graphic below for authors/dates.
Now that is the book to read #BLinaction if you are looking to do more #blendedlearning , so many helpful resources throughout the book for all teachers #BookCampPD

Q4. In Brian Aspinall's book "CodeBreaker" there are many resources with QR codes. Do you frequently use QR codes? Is there one of them from his book you would like to share with the chat group? #BookCampPD
Yes, been using Voxer for 2 years and it is great for building PLN, doing book studies, communicating with a team, I use it with Ss for #pbl#BookCampPD
Absolutely! None have been planned virtually, though. I love book studies, though. My colleague & I were just talking about possibly hosting one through Google +, though we haven't decided when. We actually thought we'd start with article studies and build from there. #bookcamppd
