Providing sources from mulitple perspectives is paramount - as is proper audience. As SS educators we ahould embrace controversial/difficult topics. Fostering and welcoming diverse opinions is necessary. #sstlap

This works really well with sticky notes, having students write on the sticky side and sticking somewhere as an exit ticket so that it is anonymous. #SSTLAP

Agreed!!! I always tell my Ss it is rude to talk when others are. Everyone needs to feel respected & able to contribute #sstlap

It is a great book that does not go fully into it, but touches on all of the different people students can live with. So it is great for the young students. #sstlap
