It’s #SeesawChat time! We’re celebrating the end of the year by sharing our ideas and reflections about Seesaw tonight!
If you’re new here, it’s easy to participate. Read Q1, start a new tweet with A1 and include #seesawchat in your tweet.
Q1: We LOVE all levels here at #SeesawChat, so please jump in! Introduce yourself & share what your role is in your school! If you want, add a gif that best describes your year.
Greetings everyone! I'm Lori from Indiana and I teach life science. I am interested in learning how to use Seesaw in my classroom next year. So I may just lurk here to see what is happening. :D #seesawchat
A2 Seesaw has strengthened the home/School connection in my class. Families love seeing what their Ss are learning. Ss love choosing what to share. It has freed me up as well. Instead of sitting 1:1 to assess fluency and sight words, I use Seesaw and review at home. #Seesawchat
A2: Students produce better quality work due to the accountability piece. I’ve also been able to assess them more easily with the activities and even when I have a sub I can see what they’ve learned. #seesawchat#iloveseesaw
Digital Technologies specialist primary teacher. Albany West Aus. Have used Seesaw since it’s inception. LOVE it, and how it keeps getting better! #SEESAWCHAT
Got to meet my next year students today. Used @Seesaw, kids took selfies and told me something about themselves. Amazing what kids can do in 15 minutes. They loved it and I get to start putting names and faces together
A3: I love seeing what my students post when I have a sub. Using the Activities feature allows me to post and see responses (and respond back). https://t.co/TtkboJRo6r#seesawchat
A3 My favorite Seesaw activities this year were using Chatterpix and appsmashing their portraits, our shape hunt- Ss took pictures of real world objects and drew the shapes their found and recording the puppet shows they created for retells #Seesawchat
A3: I’ve been LOVING using the activities feature to check in on their learning but my favotite project was when they researched an animal, created a @ChatterPixIt video and uploaded to @Seesaw they had so much fun with it!🐨 #seesawchat
A3: I love seeing what my students post when I have a sub. Using the Activities feature allows me to post and see responses (and respond back). https://t.co/TtkboJRo6r#seesawchat
A2 Seing my Ss take ownership for their learning. I made folders for each of our goals (I can show I understand; I can be understood when I read aloud, etc). Now they have evidence of their progress towards their goals! #seesawchat
Hi! I’m Danielle, Seesaw ambassador for grace 3! For the end of the year, we are creating different kinds of posts (notes, videos, photos...) to give advice to future third graders #SeesawChat@Seesaw
A4 After required testing, I’m hoping to get students to create some lessons (tutorial style) that I can share with my next year’s class for each unit. #seesawchat
A4 I have been using a lot of Booksnaps, my plan is to have Ss do book recommendations and print out the QR codes for next year’s Ss to watch. We also have a lot of special events coming up- I plan on taking pictures so families don’t miss out. #Seesawchat
Q4: I’m hoping to have Ss select their best work and put it into a folder called “Highlights of my year”. I stole that from a SeeSaw in PJs I watched a while ago. Thanks to whoever that was. 😬 #seesawchat
A5: We use Seesaw as our platform to be digital pen pals over the summer and we update each other through pictures and videos on our fun summer activities! #SeesawChat
A5 Will we be able to keep in touch if we archive the class? I plan on sending out a Seesaw intro letter to families 2-3 weeks before school starts, with pictures of our classroom-lessen the anxiety a little #Seesawchat
Q2: favorite activity. Move the sentences to the correct picture. I created the template using Pic Collage then wrote the sentences within Activities. Ss had to sort the sentences then read them aloud. Good IPA for 3rd and 4th graders. #seesawchat
A6 I started the year with very little tech. Next year I will have access to more. So I will be better able to integrate Seesaw. I would love to do more appsmashing and use Seesaw as an UDL option for sharing thinking #Seesawchat
A6 I tried some of the hidden word Seesaw on the paint splatter, that was really neat. Especially when replay the recording. I will make some more mystery Seesaws in Language and math #seesawchat

A7 One of the easiest app smashes is between Chatterpix and Seesaw, easy and kids ❤️ it 😀 I love taking a screen shot of math app creations and adding them to their math folders #seesawchat
