    I think it is too powerful to be ignored when used between adults. I still can't see using open social media platforms with students.....but there are closed versions that work well. #AkEdChat

    Social Media is extremely powerful both positive and negative & must be used w/ intentional very specific care & forethought when used w/ Ss. Ts need to have specific & well-thought-out outcomes in mind to use open social media w/ Ss. Use closed if it works just aswell. #akedchat

    #akedchat A5: I use social media (mostly twitter) professionally. Occasionally, I'll comment on a blog of personal interest. I think that my behavior on and off screen reflects my values. I'm always aware that I'm in public, but it's not much different than my private life :)
