I am cleaning and organizing my house! Doesn't sound relaxing but I can't relax when I my area is disorganized! ;) Also spending time with family! #OrEdChat
A1: I do a lot of exploration on my own time. This year we have a nice time during Ss lunch/recess when we can collaborate, we also collaborate before and after school. Not much time for reflection though I've found something that works for me ;) #OrEdChat#EduSnaps
A1: I have a great PLC team and of course I have a great PLN team too! Love our local CoffeeEdu group, and all of my colleagues near and far. They let me bounce ideas and organize my thinking as I try new things. :-) #OrEdChat
A1: Our #TeamBCSD district had summer PDs that was not Sit & Get. They were all hands on. A great example for teachers to take back to their classrooms. And the Ts are taking it back!#oredchat
A2: I'm very transparent! I think it helps my students to be risk takers...they see me trying things and then carrying on after flops...then they try things too. :-) #OrEdChat
A2: It is more important now that our Ss know HOW to be learners as opposed to information absorbers. Modeling that HOW is incredibly important to the process. They get to see failure, reflection, adjustments, perseverance, etc. #OrEdChat
A2: They would understand and know the learning is a journey, not a destination. They see me fail often, but they also see me fail forward. They know that I talk about them on Twitter and at conferences. #oredchat
A3: Value their questions! Give them time to explore their questions. Don't just give them the answer but guide them in asking more and deeper questions. #OrEdChat
A4: I'm already doing a lot of those too, so I'm global. @hmarrs24 and I have connected our classes across several states, & my blog posts have reached several countries...the Twitter #PLN is amazing! #OrEdChat
A5: I've seen time for reflection, problem solving, and self assessment. I would like to see more voice, opportunities for innovation, and connected learning! #OrEdChat
A3: The most powerful questioning I've seen is when the entire class brainstorms the questions and everyone feeds off each other's energy, curiosity and imagination. #OrEdChat
