    A1: Start by learning who your students are and placing them at the center of the work that you do: their interests, their questions, their curiosity, their needs. Building rigour is much easier than developing engagement and community. #BookCampPD #teachPOS

    A1: The new intervention I've started w/2nd grade gives me an hour as a classroom T. I have 5 rotations at 10min a piece with 2 min brainbreak/transitions between each rotation. We start rotations for real tomorrow. Looking forward to it all coming together. #teachpos #bookcampPD

    A2: Coming in I set expectations - they are posted on an anchor chart. We review daily, if expectations are met we try again. I laugh at my mistakes, and giggle along w/ my littles when they are silly. We are a family & learning to be together for the hour. #TeachPos #bookcampPD

    A1: I frequently invite students to engage with me and in groups in front of the class in exchanges, debates, games, and activities. I even see those who were initially terrified stepping up eventually. #TeachPos

    A2: I think the "clear and consistent expectations" become more evident on the days when I'm struggling. My students get to see that I make mistakes, too. Then they get to see how I respond to that by modeling how to try again to meet those expectations. #BookCampPD #TeachPos

    A4: My WHY is really my "What If" I am always looking to find the creation of learning under rocks or wherever they may hide. I ask myself "what" questions that Inspire me to be the best learning partner possible for ALL of my students. #teachpos

    A2: I tend to be fairly open with my students. They can usually tell what kind of day it’s been, but my usual message is “we’re going to keep our heads up and press on.” I try to encourage them by discouraging them from giving up—that will only make things worse! #teachpos

    A3. The Ss have a lot of fun in their activities and experiments. Time is not wasted, Ss learn quite a bit by doing the hands on learning. Answering Q and asking Q is important as they make observations and problem solving. #teachpos

    Some are greeted as they come in. Some participate in the whole class discussion. Some come to me for help and some I go to. We have independent reading in class where we do conferences. We have writing time when I am mobile. Getting to everyone is not easy. #bookcamppd #teachpos
