    A1: The transitions this year have been so memorable! Sticky messes still appear, but we are working hard to build our success story! We transitioned from a K-2 school to a PreK-6th school w/ a combination of new staff & Ss. $5.3 million renovation this summer. WOW! #LeadLAP

    A1: Most memorable is from this past Thursday. We had school during a tropical storm. I stepped up and managed to get all of the students and staff from the trailers to our main building. Then, I spent two hours loading students on buses! #leadlap

    I recently listened to a podcast about how schools that looked at those "tough information" reports as opportunities to grow over a few years actually outperformed schools that didn't get such reports. Our perception is powerful. #LeadLAP

    I try to see positives behind my admins initiatives. It's hard to think of "circles" being effective in HS math, but the day before a holiday I circled w/my Ss about why some don't ask Q's. Powerful. When admin walked in this wk our conclusions were still on the board. #leadlap

    Never get too settled that you forget your purpose. Always be willing to listen to new ideas. New isn’t always better but sometimes it is. Change is inevitable so learn to adapt. And most importantly, never forget that it’s for the kids. #LeadLAP
