CatholicEdChat is a twitter chat. Topics focus on discussions around educational issues for Catholic Educators and topics beneficial to Catholic Schools. Our 8th graders are planning a traveling stations of the cross for this week. Has anyone else ever done this where students move room to room? #catholicedchat
So, hard to imagine and live through. #CatholicEdChat My 3rd graders prayed a Hail Mary for you all when I heard the news and new it was so close to you and @hes_smcps
Our PE teacher will be doing the Stations of the Cross that was shared 2 weeks ago. Each station has a physical challenge and reflection. Thanks to the original sharer! #CatholicEdchat
No kidding! I’m really looking forward to an extra week off from school connecting with amazing teachers around the country...AND PRESENTING FOR THE FIRST TIME! 🤗 #CatholicEdChat
Our K-2 students do a Passion Play in the church for school and public. Very solemn, and they step up to expectations. We got the play from another Catholic school. #catholicedchat
Thank you for sharing, @BarbInNebraska! It is reliably inspirational to see teachers of a variety of subject areas living and transmitting the faith within their differing roles. #CatholicEdChat

I am always looking for PD book recommendations. Currently, I am reading "Who Is Doing the Work?" by Burkins and Yaris. I would love suggestions! #catholicedchat
If this decision is more about low numbers, what can we do to support the teachers and help the parents see that there is still value in the educational program? #catholicedchat
Yes, good job! It is an easy read and full of practical ideas that bring liturgy to life in your classroom - though church seasons and feast days #catholicedchat
#catholicedchat an idea for future chats... Share pics from your gallery of the past week. I'm guessing most of you take pics in your educational settings?
Some of our schools are personalized learning w/3 grade levels in the same room. Technology assistance is great. Happy to talk further on this. I taught multi many, many years ago. #catholicedchat
@polonerd & I facilitated a session this week on @iste stds with tech dir types. ISTE being held in Chicago this year so timely to highlight their work. Curious how many plan/r guided by these frameworks #CatholicEdChat
Good morning from chilly La Loche SK I’m late because I forgot about the time change. We don’t change but when other places do we get mixed up. #CatholicEdChat
#catholicedchat@NCEATALK here is a marketing idea for each convention: make photo backdrop with local saints-skylin, etc. or the stand up Pope Francis with name and year of convention.
The pics are from Honolulu. I was in Hawaii last week, got back to Australia last night. The @HawaiianAir flights to and from Sydney were excellent! #catholicedchat

Before we depart, #CatholicEdChat: Holy Week and Triduum are upon us. Let us remember to encourage ourselves, our families, our students, our peers, and others in our communities to reconciliation leading up to the joy of Easter! My latest at @NCRegister: https://t.co/GkJsKGQniG
