A1 - Culture comes first in a classroom, if you don't build a community, you're walking up the down escalator. @Buncee's easy creation allows students to really show who they are, and to learn about each other. Buncee Boards allow for great community building. #Bunceechat

Q1: Why is it important to build a classroom community and strong connections with students? How can Buncee help you connect with students AND help students connect with each other? #Bunceechat
A1: Relationships are the foundation of everything we do. @Buncee has empowered me to build relationships with kids by giving them creative control over library lessons....for starters. #Bunceechat
A1. The Classroom is a sort of family and the community that students learn from inside the classroom translates to the outside world. Via Buncee, students share parts of themselves that would otherwise be left unexpressed until certain language/experience is learned #Bunceechat

A2 Buncee's email function and easy way of adding audio and video makes it a breeze to send things to moms, dads, grandparents, and all sorts of fam! And because it's so easy for kids to create, that just compounds it.
#Bunceechat
A2: Absolutely! A super easy way is to print the front slide w the #QRcode & have families view their Buncee. They could also share a @Buncee link via @Seesaw & have parents respond or even create a #hyperdoc where families can interact with their Buncee. #bunceechat
A1: #Buncee makes it so each to connect with Ss because you can make so many amazing assignments that Ss love to #create and share. And, #BunceeBoards make it so easy to share with each other and connect. #Bunceechat

As an Intensive ESL class, I make sure the Ss think of us as a team. They need to feel safe so they will take chances and speak a new language in front of others. @buncee helps us convey our thinking in a creative way, unique to each Ss.
A3: I wanted all staff to set goals using #oneword on buncee in January during PD. Unfortunately district things came up. I have sent informational emails to all staff detailing Buncee use #bunceechat

A3: Also, I had about 6 staff sign up during my ambassador application process & they all loved it, but are still hesitant to implement in classroom #bunceechat
A3 I always found that when I did something that took work OFF my team's plate, they were more likely to buy in. Making things to share with Buncee got them to ask for more info! #BunceeChat
Q3: Weekly, I pull all my ideas into Buncee by subject. It can be anything from a document to a web link. I focus on specific standards and create a learning goal each week. I then share this Buncee with my team. They can take or leave what they want. Same with the students.
We also love the idea of being able to share school work with anyone that's home for an extended time. You don't have to worry about snow days :) #BunceeChat
Q4: Why is it important to connect with ALL members of your school and local community (libraries, local businesses, charitable organizations, etc.)? Share your ideas for using Buncee to build these important connections! #Bunceechat
That's a great idea! We certainly should have done that we our recent absentees. Will definitely make a note to self for all future absences. Perfect idea! ๐ #Bunceechat

A1: I think building a strong community is important since it is the foundation of success. When we know our Ss and they know us, there is a sense of trust and understanding that allows learning to take place. #bunceechat
A4: The community has an interest in the success of its schools, & students can learn so much from members of their community. See how @BastropISD's Choice & Voice Team's used Buncee to publish student writing in community spaces https://t.co/8ndWtyK9nx#Bunceechat#WeAreLRNG
A3: Interactive e-Newsletters and have been a great way to share what Iโm doing in the library. I also use it religiously for my weekly announcements or event promotions. #Bunceechat
A2: Ss can create QR codes of their work and have parents scan at home to view work. Ss can create digital portfolios to showcase their growth and achievements. #bunceechat
A4: Because education goes way beyond the 4 walls of your classroom. The more involved the more learning opportunities. I'm thinking #hyperdoc@Buncee w links to allow replies etc or #BunceeBoard#bunceechat
Itโs not only important for yourself but to show your kids that communities grow together! I always suggest making a Buncee board about the community and have everyone in the distict react and add to It ! Keeps people involved #bunceechat
A4 There are all sorts of resources in your community, so if you stay in your sch. walls, you're missing out! Good PR means support for your school! Use Buncee to show what learning, and to show how you're connecting. You get community buy in when you show evidence! #BunceeChat
A4 everyone needs to be involved, more connections lead to more opportunities for real world experiences and authentic learning, can send Buncees to tell about a class, event, or make buncees for them #Bunceechat
A4 As a community we are all stakeholders and want student success. We are stronger together. What about a community Buncee board where everyone could share their fav Dr. Seuss #bunceechat
My Ss certainly enjoyed creating Mother's Day #Buncee last year! I'm looking forward to doing that again this year. I'll encourage them to do likewise for their dads on Father's Day. #Bunceechat

A4: when you spread your communication to the whole community it is like you are building good #PR which means you can advocate for your classroom #BunceeChat
A4 The news has enough bad stories about schools because they're clickbait. Give them great stories to share by making Buncee announcements of all the good things you do in class. #BunceeChat
A4: as they say: it takes a village. The best education is an education where students come out knowing who had a part in it, no matter how small. Local community is also a huge part of that. Use Buncee to create flyers, coordinate events, lead discussions and more! #Bunceechat
A4: Because it takes a VILLAGE! We need visible and tangible evidence of us working toward a goal. We need to model to students that we are also practicing what we preach. If we expect it from them, we need to expect it from ourselves. In and out of the classroom. #Bunceechat
A4: Would love to start using @Buncee to connect librarians in Northwest GA to extend our learning and collaboration. Guess I better get to it! #Bunceechat
