You know, Andy Wall, now that you mention it, I find myself going back to iMovie. I try other apps, I use other apps, but when I need a quick edit I turn to iMovie. It doesn't disappoint. #moedchat
It is the best video editing app that isn't too complicated or too much. Better on a MacBook, but the mobile version does a ton more than most others. Plus its free on iOS :) #moedchat

It would depend, I guess on how much time the Ss will have access to devices where the app is usable for 30 days. In some cases, that could be 4 45-minute periods within those 30 days. Hard to decide in that amount of time. #moedchat

That's my thing, I only see a class once a week for 45 minutes. It is hard to evaluate the usefulness in 4 class periods. I'd love to get a Sept-May trial period, that'd really give me a good idea of how useful it is. #moedchat

Agree. GSuite for EDU is very different than other 'free' apps. Since Flipgrid was purchased by Microsoft and became free, I sense like you said, they are trying to build life long customers. Both are so different than typical 'free' apps...happy exceptions to the rule #moedchat

A2: good apps are useful for many purposes and benefit all ages and most of the time they are free. Bad apps are filled with ads that are irrelevant and requires you to purchase to keep using. Also, the bad apps only serve one purpose. #MOedchat

A3: If I had an unlimited budget I would get my class access to Splash Math, Vocab City and then also Reading A-Z (Raz Kids). They are great education resources that keep kids engaged and learning! #MOedchat
Have not heard of iMotion... I'll have to look into that. The one we use is free and doesn't seem to have too many restrictions, it has worked out nicely since the Chrome extension we used to use disappeared. #moedchat
A5: my number one free app in the classroom is @Seesaw b/c it allows myself and students to share their learning with others and parents but also communicate w/o giving out personal info. #MOedchat
Try the one I shared, I'm 95% sure its the one I've been using. It is pretty quick and simple, exports straight to camera roll and is probably an adequate replacement for Lego Movie Maker #moedchat

A6: I was introduced to Teach Your Monster to Read. It’s a reading app that helps with reading, phonics, and vocabulary. Add your students and choose what skill level they are performing at and it sets up books and games for them to play! #MOedchat
Yes. Ok, so I went back through my App Store and found that I had dld iMotion at some point, but deleted it, that tells me that I was not a fan and went with Stop Motion Studio. There is a "Pro" version as well for a whopping $4.99, so I went with the free one #moedchat
