Good morning I'm glad to be back
Whats going on? Did i miss something?
so it turns out standing on ergonomically designed chairs is fairly dangerous- bruises to prove it
Really? don't like field trips at all. Raises my anxiety so bad. But if $$ wasn't an object.. https://t.co/NPhuJuduW8

Brian, HS principal
Where? Camping for a couple of nights where they could experience life/nature outside the city and no cell phone connectivity.
it happens! Dangers of violating osha rules on a regular basis...
If $ was limitless I would take my Ss to Galapagos or Madagascar (science dream trips)
MoMA...but only after the look but don't touch convo embedded in their souls
Did you have a good day yesterday?
Good MOrning. I'd want to go on a dinosaur dig, or on a European architecture tour, or on a scuba adventure with them.
Gm. On a tour to places where there career interests are. NY for fashion, Syracuse for HVAC, D.C. for law... families go too
We are taking a world tour then, I want to expose them to as many things as possible
me too, I don't really enjoy FTs so anxious
Same with me Kathy, haha! I like when places like Museum of science comes to us https://t.co/wHnU6CocPZ

Or we wold go to the places our books took place when we read. Long Island for Gatsby. Scotland for MacBeth. etc... travel and read.
and good morning to you! How are you?
I would like them to visit the classrooms we Skype.
4 day trip. Up through DC, monuments, Pentagon. Stop in Shanksville, PA Memorial. Ending in NYC for the 9/11 Mem&Museum.
I was thinking the same thing. https://t.co/JFzmGE97bp
We are taking a world tour then, I want to expose them to as many things as possible
I struggle with this. I am not a fan of field trips at all... I know the value... just causes me anxiety!
Good morning and you're welcome!
How about the Stanford D. School? Show students what is possible!
I would take every sophomore to 5-7 different colleges and universities to see what can be found after high school. .
Ooh! I'd like them to trace their fam history as far back as possible, then we tour all those places & hear the story
Yes! With the little ones, I am just afraid one is going to wonder away.. https://t.co/ZkKJT1wt48
I struggle with this. I am not a fan of field trips at all... I know the value... just causes me anxiety!
1) Cross country trip of U.S. 2) Trip on the Silk Road due to its under appreciated influence on the history of the world
Nice! But the plane rides... 😱😭 https://t.co/MkWTrXaQdP
Or we wold go to the places our books took place when we read. Long Island for Gatsby. Scotland for MacBeth. etc... travel and read.
Good morning my amazing !
We now have Ss who weren't born when that tragedy happened. Gain some perspective on what it was like from people who were there
that would be a fun place to visit. Or Googleplex in Mountain View
This could be really soothing.

Where? Camping for a couple of nights where they could experience life/nature outside the city and no cell phone connectivity.
Lame answer: as many different places as possible. I can honestly say my kids don't have a lot of experiences, so they need it all.
we does this on a smaller scale with touring New England Universities for 3-4 days
it was fantastic! One of my best birthdays (minus the headache at the end). Thanks for asking.
Glad to hear things r looking up!
Ask Ss "what prob do you want to solve as you grow up?" then take them to where they can see it or begin the journey
There's an awesome map somewhere on the toobs w book characters' homes idetified - that would be a good start for a road trip
you'd have hated my flights last week, bus w/ wings...
Happy Thursday, everyone. Can't stay, gotta try to get outta here a little earlier. Report cards & conferences looming.
. Reply: Field trip to Ts and Ss may explore "Some were Neighbors" to consider justice and equity 4 today
Im@going to Outdoor Ed in two weeks with my 6th graders. We get to sleep in dorms tho https://t.co/6qamD7YG3M
Where? Camping for a couple of nights where they could experience life/nature outside the city and no cell phone connectivity.
our Ss do this in 4th grade (but I don't know about the cell phones...)
Across Europe to see ancient civilizations like Athens, Rome, Pompeii...to Asia for the Great Wall and other history...across US too!
my dream... This the time machine.
How about we just go to Auschwitz?
My own kids did the outdoor ed thing in 6th grade, neither was a fan.

Happy belated birthday Stacey!! 🎂 https://t.co/yPGW867Jgx
it was fantastic! One of my best birthdays (minus the headache at the end). Thanks for asking.
Internet access is helping to bring the world to our classrooms...but I'd love for my kids to see much more of their own city.
Now I have a hankering for travel!
Have a good day https://t.co/LHy0Xm2FqQ
Happy Thursday, everyone. Can't stay, gotta try to get outta here a little earlier. Report cards & conferences looming.
Dream trips: Washington, DC, camping in Smoky Mountains (yes, in tents), a safari, Chicago, and New York. https://t.co/GTWC8BnHKw
I think the more you see the more you grow. Kids who have never left their town need to get out. The Field trip is a service.
We just got our field trip approved by PTO. They are very generous and fund minus busses
Like standing in the intersection in Boston where the plaque is in the road marking the Boston Massacre
We are going to a play and to a dinosaur museum Hard to choose places that grades below haven't been.

Would love to take Ss to London to the Globe Theater. Google Lit Trips is good, but not as good as the real thing.
I'm "that" teacher, the one who loves a field trip. I rarely pass up the chance to take kids somewhere!
YESS! American history on the road.
Many of our students have never left ME. Until recently it was logging or Mill jobs.
I'm great! First day back yesterday was a bit draining. How are you?
NYC is a dream trip almost every time I go (even for work!)
i'm addicted !!! ( hence the bow ties) !!
An overnight to Washington DC. So much to see there! Oh, and London, because I've always wanted to go there...
I'm not looking forward to it ( so much for staying positive) 🙊 but new staff must do what I'm told https://t.co/nE8XmCbZmU
My own kids did the outdoor ed thing in 6th grade, neither was a fan.
Thanks, Christina! Hope you're doing well. Vox me if you ever need to talk.
As long as you don't become road kill looking for it LOL
I would take my class to an old arthouse theater. They would learn about and and .

50 mins on the train from me and a gift every visit
Now that I am seeing other ideas: how about an arthouse theater in Europe?
Now that sounds wonderful!!
yea got to go to Boston as well then hop the pond to England & France
If money were no option we would go to Broadway, Hollywood, Eastman, MIT, and Apple (Fine Arts school with a lot of tech)
For me, Old Manse in Concord, looking out window toward bridge where the shots were fired got my imagination going
Excellent positive chat today!
Enjoy Thursday!
