Q1 @canva has been our #1 tech tool we use with classes. So many different types of classes create graphic design projects and Canva is great for those Especially when we are teaching infographics. Lots of collaboration with that tool #txlchat
A1 Google Docs of course is the one most widely used on my campus and with our faculty, but have also been playing with @Flipgrid as a way to share ideas with others about a common topic. #txlchat#aaslstandards

A1: I love to use tech tools such as @padlet for a gathering of thoughts and ideas in group work, @Google Sites for exhibiting a creation or product, and @flipgrid as a group response tool. #txlchat
Q1 But if we’re talkings about student collaboration, we are an Office365 district so we teach the share function on all the Office tools, especially in Word and PowerPoint for group projects #txlchat

A1 One of my new favorite tools is @GooseChaseEDU Students are given "challenges" to answer with text, image, video or GPS, and the teacher can monitor in real-time. #txlchat#aaslstandards

A2: Not to sound like a broken record, but Padlet is also a great curation tool! I've used it to collaboratively curate resources for teachers on classroom design. #TXLCHAT
A1) Sometimes it’s difficult to separate collaboration and curation, especially where @Flipgrid and @padlet are concerned. And Drive is amazing as well, among the G-Suite tools. #txlchat#AASLstandards
A2 We have itsLearning for our LMS and we have started to use that to curate materials and content for students. We use our @weebly homepage as well and sharing materials with teachers using our @onedrive#txlchat

A2: Google Classroom a great collaboration tool and curation tool. I created a Library Google classroom so my teachers can subscribe and I can add materials as needed for their students. #txlchat
A2 I like to use @mackinvia to curate group lists of ebooks, websites and other resources. Also a good way to point Ss to tough topics or curate lists for LGBTQ #txlchat#aaslstandards

A3: Flipgrid! I use it with K/1 students often. I’m starting a 4th grade virtual book club this week and we’ll record our responses in Flipgrid #txlchat
A3 Right now, @Flipgrid is one of my favorite tools to engage students. In the online course that I teach, it helps to create community and allows all voiced to be heard. #txlchat#AASLstandards

It’s an app found in Office365 where one can invite other users to join the team. In the team, you can upload documents, links images and videos for others to view and edit. It’s great!

@Seesaw is another tool for all answers to tonight’s chat. I’m hoping to start using it more on my campus. I use it as a mom but need to add it to the library. #txlchat
A1 - Google Drive with a Team Drive for myself and my teaching partner. We can edit in real time, share with Ss and parents, and upload to Schoology or Google classroom. Also love the access from anywhere. #txlchat

@newslitproject is a great resource that I am also just starting to use. Has some great potential. So do materials on the @newseum website. I used their ESCAPE method for website evaluation recently with freshmen. #txlchat

A3 Ya’ll just reminded me, we found a great new tool we’ve been showing for license free icons you can customize @theflaticon So cool, we will be teaching it when we do infographics at the end of the year #txlchat
Yes! My 6th graders have loved using it for book talks. I want to have them use it to share resources they like using for research. It helps me know where they are looking, and how I can help them become stronger researchers. #txlchat
A4: INQUIRY - i would love to see a tech tool that can initiate learning with questions! I can already think of apps that might help with that but I’d like one exclusively for inquiry based learning. #txlchat

A3 We also used @StoryboardThat with our on level US History students and they made fantastic timelines on the Civil Rights Movement. Wish there was more options on the free version but that’s how it goes with EdTech tools sometimes #txlchat

For curation, I believe the most important choices are the resources/tools that aligns w/targeted student learning outcomes. Using fewer yet diverse resources/tools to go more deeply is a worthwhile goal. #txlchat
