We have been working on the strategy o asking Qs. So, to get them to realize that we should wonder all the time, we create wonder boxes to store all our wonderings, while we look for answers. #1stchat

A2 We like @GetKahoot and @plickers although I really don't use them an "exit" ticket. I like asking "What did you learn today?" "What was challenging?" etc. in the closing meeting. #1stchat
A2: I also send home a follow up question on @ClassDojo for the parents to ask students about the day, then parents message me back. They earn dojo dollars for the challenge. #1stchat

I think that sometimes students might struggle with certain standards but that does not mean that the student is not proficient in the rest of subject #1stchat
We are coming up on our shapes unit as well. I've got some research to do. If anyone is interested in trying a hangout with a rookie, I'm interested. Thanks! #1stchat
I love my standards based report card. I created more of a hybrid using some percentages to determine level, but I do feel I know better exactly how my kids are doing and what we still need to learn. #1stchat
