A2: Assoc. also has a North-South All-Star Game in each sport. AS coaches are selected by their sport's assoc.

I'm not sure what you mean...first 4 days are helmet, shirt, and shorts...starting the 8th reduces you to 1 scrimmage
-
Q5: What benefits are included to being a member of your state association?
-
A5: Legal assistance and limited liability for something that may occur @ a practice or game
-
A5: Many...support, network, access to the job board, professional liability insurance, to name a few

Interesting. That doesn't come from our assoc., it comes from our governing body the SC High School League.
-
Q6: Do you know the mission of your association?
-
it also allows us to claim 2 tickets to college home games in Texas
-
A5: networking, game passes, etc. biggest is providing opportunities to network with other coaches, keep in touch.
-
based on enrollment anybspecial rules 4 private schools
-
Not here. Game passes/coaching ID's come from our governing body, not association.
-
-
our governing body doesn't provide anything like that to us
-
we only have 2 private schools in the state that compete with the public schools. They compete at the top level
-
-
Q7: How could your state association improve to better serve you?
-
A6: Promote, protect, & teach student athletes through effective leadership & professional development of coaches.
-
Q7: Currently, I'm coaching MS and little is offered @ clinic specific to younger athletes. MS coaching only has 1 agenda item.

totally agree...the focus always seems to be high school. Our formative coaches need resources and support
