My favorite learning moments this year came from a leadership team we formed from our student body. It was fun learning what they thought our campus needs were from their perspectives. #EDpiper
This year has been a struggle for our campus with a lot of changes, all for the better. But the best learning moment was at the worst times, teachers leaning on each other for support and encouragement. Don’t discount help from your neighbor. #EDpiper

A3: @Owl_b_TorresEdu and I took many risks. We added #personalizedPD to our PD rotations, focused on restorative justice practices, and a new PLC time. Many risks, lots of feedback, and reflection. #EDpiper
The biggest thing I've learned this year is to give a big fist bump to all the gigantic challenges you've overcome. It's overcoming the obstacles that make us greater. #EDpiper@MrsPottingerCCE@TrueNorthCG
This year our kinder team piloted Kinder Camp the first two weeks of school. This gave us to opportunity to create balanced classrooms in kinder. We've gotten a lot of great feedback and have the data to back it up! #EDpiper
A3: I started a brand new class and it has been fantastic. I also took on a leadership role of dept. head, and continued on other leadership roles that have been very beneficial for me. #edpiper
#edpiper We had so many great initiatives and success stories. Hard Work, Pays Off! You must have the will to push through. I’m super excited to be presenting at TEPSA Summer Conference! https://t.co/AfXqIuQj2F#tepsastrong@tepsatalk

A3: This is silly/simple/behind, but I started using collaborative documents through Google Classroom (the first time I’ve used GC too!). Students enjoyed being able to create something together and the products were amazing and thoughtful! #EDpiper
A3: New district, new grade level, 1:1 technology....so many risks were taken!! Every single one of them had a positive outcome. I think I’ve become more confident as an educator because of them. I’m usually not a risk taker but I’m slowly stepping out! #EDpiper
A3: Took a lot of risks this year...some of them paid off...some of them were received well...others not so much...risks are always worth taking though...would not go back on any choice I made with @sarahpedrotti. #EDpiper

Agreed! Lessons learned always pay off in a big way, no matter if they were sweet or bittersweet. No one can take away what you’ve learned either way. #EDpiper
A4: Proudest student success moment has to be the kids that are learning to self-regulate...no, they are not perfect, but they are learning to live life! #EDpiper
I tried a ton of new things and extended a tremendous amount of grace and trust. It paid off. People thrive when they are trusted & shrink when they are not. #EDpiper
A4: Hands down, a 4-year process, when a student I had been so worried about, stressed over, spent countless hours on the phone and emailing parents to keep on track, walked into my classroom in their cap and gown. #EDpiper
A4: The greatest student success stories can be found in every classroom @CastlemanCreek I can't choose just 1. My favorites: Students who choose to be kind over everything else. I love to see positive notes, hear sweet words to friends, & just showing common courtesy. #EDpiper

A4: I have many- they mostly belong to my teachers. When a student tells me what they are learning, or I see their amazing work all over Twitter, FB, and Insta, it makes me proud to see all of the growth in my teachers and students. #EDpiper
A5: As a teacher there is always something I can improve on. I plan to keep revising all of my curriculum to make it relevant and current for the Ss to continue to make connections. #edpiper
A3: @fasanitj always has amazing ideas for us to use in our classrooms! Many are new so it takes some courage to try them. Some ideas just work while others are a total flop. Takes practice and the kids love trying new things! ❤
A5: Next year, I plan to continue incorporating more tech into my lessons. I’m slow to the bandwagon, but apps like Nearpod are amazing and I hope to include more of them in my lessons, along with more online collaboration. Trying to move into the 21st century! #EDpiper

Moments like these...when your husband and daughter bring dozens of donuts to school to appreciate your teachers and staff. Pretty cool hubby! Thanks @TrueNorthCG#Edpiper
R5: I’m changing my entire content area from earth/Space to physics. It gonna be a big change for me and I’m gonna have to work at it. Being vulnerable and transparent is not a bad thing. #EDpiper
Next year, I plan on being more intentional and goal oriented with my time and not let random things take over my day. I want to plan out each day before it takes over my plans! #EDpiper
