A2: Just learned about a new platform from @gjlyman called @edthena to use when coaching Ts. Super excited to use it for reflection on my coaching. #TECHtalkGA
A2: I have found that video is a great teaching tool using @sreencastify Teachers can watch and do and rewatch at will. It provides just in time learning. #TECHtalkGA
A2: Screencasts, Flipgrid, and mainly teaching how to record class instruction using @goswivl for #edTPA purposes. But honestly, all educators need to get more and more comfortable “being on camera” as I spend more and more time attending virtual meetings. #TECHtalkGA

How do you encourage teachers to take chances & play with edtech during PD?
A3: You create and block off time for teachers to be able to explore. Also, use something like #classroom or a Google doc to keep the discussion going! #TECHtalkGA

Giving them choice is key. Teachers don't have to complete everything. It's better for them to "choose their own adventure" as @itsleegreen says
A3: Offer no pressure play dates with new tech. Did this a couple of weeks ago with an @PlayOsmo and Ts we’re so excitedabout the possibilities, they bought some for grade level use. (Listened to @iamryanwhite last year and was inspired) #TECHtalkGA
A3: I will introduce a tech tool through using it then bribe Ts to use it with candy. I just also got stickers made to help spread the fun. #TECHtalkGA
A3 my team has used Hyperdocs, My Maps, Tour Builder, Forms, etc, to model digital content packaging to Ts. We place them in the student role and let the learning begin! #TECHtalkGA
A3: I try to build in time for them to experience the tech tool. However, I always emphasize they should pick 1-2 they are comfortable with & then try to build on it. See what “clicks” w/ their students. Some tools may really engage students where others may not. #TECHtalkGA

A3: just like with Ss, Ts love to work together on something fun. I have to work on making it more entertaining, but the creative stuff doesn’t come naturally. A work in progress! #TECHtalkGA
A4: I'm working with about 17 teachers this semester and going through the Google Level 1 Certification. I am conducting the class paperless. I hope that modeling this can show others Ts that it can be collaborative and meaningful #techtalkga
Q4: My most exciting times in the classroom were when I got to see my Ss make connections to their learning and crave for more..I have experienced this w/ our Ts and it is every bit as exciting. 😊👍 #TECHtalkGA
A4: all the same concepts for good teaching apply no matter who is doing the learning, Ts or Ss: voice, choice, self-pacing, attention to learning styles, differentiation, engagement, etc. #TECHtalkGA

A4: Lead by example! I really try to use the tools or tips I share even if it means stepping out of my comfort zone. AKA being on camera more often!! Just gotta learn to get over yourself and do it. #TECHtalkGA

A5: I often think about how and what I learn will make the most impact when I redeliver. Is it going to engage students and leverage learning? #TECHtalkGA
A5: #TECHtalkGA Conflicts are inevitable, but the way we handle them sends a strong message about us. Choosing to build up the positive while refusing to engage in the negativity helps everyone.
