Great event at #TeamFelegy last night, an arts integration literacy night. Here are some paintings inspired by the book #TheDot. A wonderful time had by all. #mdeschat
A1. A Global Leader is capable of collaborating with any individual towards a common goal. They embrace diversity and empower others to become agents of change. They lead, others and take care while improving our world. #mdeschat
A2. I'm part of a Green School. Our school community is committed to find ways to take care of the environment. Working on developing a living library #mdeschat
A2- Part of a Green School, continue to be on the Green Team and co-lead the Green Club after school weekly. Great to engage w/ Ss and Ts about going green and building on that. #mdeschat
Sometimes we forget that our schools impact the community and the community should impact the schools. Isn't the goal of schools build global leaders that can change our communities? #mdeschat
Those partnerships facilitate 21st century skills and college readiness. WE have to collaboratively plan and establish clear goals toward shared outcomes. #mdeschat
A2: We are not a #GreenSchool but there are green activities taking place. Ss facilitate recycling and learning about water injustices in Baltimore. #mdeschat
Science comes back to life. My students are having so much fun observing their butterflies and ladybug farms... a lot better than any book. Now books make sense. #mdeschat
A3: Promoting #greenschool initiatives require being open to agencies with a mission to improve environmental quality. I encourage Ss to be good “stewards” of the environment. #mdeschat#GradAtGrad
A4: Integrating arts help open the doors toward creativity! I love how including Ss in planning projects helps to motivate them to achieve. Reflection helps ensure Ss achieve learning goals. #mdeschat
A4. Schools can enhance green iniatives & the arts w/ community art displays like sculptures made out of recycled materials raising awareness 4 a cause #mdeschat
Our students created garden decorations using bottle caps from the milk in the cafeteria. They are so proud and nobody tries to destroy them. Pride and ownership #mdeschat
This week a student brought a petition to start recycling crayons... we have created a super cute bucket and now students will discover a new tool #mdeschat
