It isn't half term here! Or in neighbouring LAs 😀 Interesting looking at local term dates for next year how there is less divergence between authorities than this year! (Useless fact!)
Any book by Ian Abrahams on practical work is important for science teachers. I like the latest one best at the moment as it gives practical advice. #asechat
Agreed. I wonder if @teacherhead has considered this. When he spoke the other week on tracking and assessment it is clear he's though a lot about it. #asechat

Everyone must have 'inside the black box'? Whatever you think about formative assessment in practice it's a very important place to start when thinking about the topic. #asechat
Not specifically sci but can recommend it as a bloody good book (I will admit to slight bias here though!-the author is rather well known to me these days but wasn't when I first read it) #asechat
