Hey Erica! It was almost Perfect - was supposed to have a Mystery GHO with my friend @plnaugle but there were technical difficulties! #4thchat How was yours?
Q1: What special events during the month of March are you planning to celebrate? #4thchat
Here is the March Calendar of Events from Teacher’sCorner: https://t.co/pioTczykOw
We finally got our Internet working at around 2 today. But was a nice day without having online things to distract. Sorry we didn’t get to connect, @ncarroll24. Hopefully, we can reschedule. #4thchat

A1: Whole school is doing Read Across America on Friday. We’ll have about 70 readers from all local TV, sports teams, Sheriff dept, school board etc. #4thchat
On Friday - my other school is having a 'school wide' read where Ss and staff will line the halls with their books and read for 15 minutes. It's awesome! #4thchat
Monday highlight- school let's out, phone starts ringing... parents sharing their child's excitement about an optional, ungraded, project I "assigned" today. #stokecreativity! #londonpossible#4thchat
Oh, maybe we should schedule another competitive @GetKahoot to review that topic with both our classes. We just finished Constitution and Bill of Rights. #4thchat
#4thchat I give the kids a maze with start to finish (I think I used the Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day and deleted the icons) Kids code it to be the most direct, efficient way to the end. We make a bracket of kids and they face off, until we have the best maze/pathway!

We used to have a 4th grade Shakespearean Play. We would do MacBeth, Julius Caesar and A Midsummer's Night Dream! Memories to last a lifetime! #4thchat
Yes, it was nice and warm here in Iowa...a nice break from all the ice and snow we have had lately. I am ready for spring! Hope your Monday was good. #4thchat
Also, we’d really like to break our states record from last year of 27. We are at 16 today, and here’s the states #GlobalMarchBookMadnesshas so far this year! #4thchat

Q4: Besides following the race students could write a persuasive essay asking their folks to let them have a pup! #4thchat Some ideas here: https://t.co/FXl6cf1bXn
@JennRegruth@ncarroll24 challenged the class to loot their recycling bin to create a vehicle. It can be a vehicle that goes on land, water, or flies, real or completely imagined. No restrictions, creating strictly for joy.
A6: Haven't ever really done any lessons on Johnny Appleseed. Maybe we could take those Ozobots @TechVolak2 & make the trail that Johnny followed. #4thchat
They will likely get excited and work together- what a great project! Parents love projects they understand and can help with- especially if their child is into it! Well done! #4thchat
Awesome - I bet kids will spend more time on that than they would something else. It's the idea of being creative, no grade means no failure - all are accepted. #4thchat
Having projects that can be done alone or with help gives a freedom. And, having the student explain how the project worked out, gives him or her confidence. Win, Win, Win. #4thchat
Most of my students will attend a St. Patrick’s parade on March 11 where the riders on the floats throw beads and trinkets, but also cabbage, onions, carrots etc. so you can make an Irish stew. #4thchat
A7: I'll be sharing this Leprechaun Digital Breakout with colleagues: https://t.co/ymmiuNi1vh#4thchat Did it last year & kids were hooked on Digital Breakouts.
Ha! I feel like most people who hit the slopes spend most of their time in the lodge – where there are often plenty of beverages to choose from! #4thchat
