Join SLPs and Special Educators to collaborate, share ideas and discuss how we leverage the use of Ed Tech with our challenged learners, the successes and challenges we meet in the process and how we might envision a future where PLNs and SIGs can support educators in providing ALL learners with the 21st century skills needed to lead the future.
Welcome to #SlpSpedChat! We are excited to have @MatthewXJoseph Co-Moderating tonight! Please introduce yourself and share a song you like to rock out to on your ride to work!
#SlpSpedChat@ZajacSLP ready to rock out with tonight's chat!! One of my favorite songs to jam to on the morning car ride is Alicia Keys' "This Girl Is On Fire". Doesn't hurt that my 2 daughte's also LOVE to belt it out anytime we are in the car for more than a 10 min drive!
Erin Fisher, East Bridgewater Tech Integration Specialist, and my latest rock out song is anything from Moana or Lego Batman, since my son insists on it. #SlpSpedChat
Matt J: Director of Digital Learning and Innovation. When I need/want to rock out I put on “Fire” by The Roots featuring John Legend from Creed #SlpSpedChat

A1- the arts are included throughout many of my lessons- I love STEAM! An example is my when my students designer their own creature traps after researching a mythical creature. #SlpSpedChat
A1 I loved giving the kids the choice of doing 1 of these 4 culminating activitied with their litetature circle groups to teach their classmates about their group's book: a talk show, a game show, a song/rap or a play! They were ultra creative.
A2:About two years ago, I also used to use a lot of anonymous Google Forms with just a "tell me what you're thinking" and then post al the answers out in GC for us to talk about. No one knew who wrote what and it led to great discussion.#SlpSpedChat
